This ex-Western 720 underwent a whole series of leases and sub-leases by Eagle Air between 9.77 and 12.79 which involved Britannia, Kenya Airways, Air Malta and Aviateca. Then sold to Aer Lingus and scrapped at Stansted 6.80

One of three 720s purchased from Western Airlines in 1979 and added to two Pakistan International Airlines 720s previously leased. Last flight with Air Malta December 1989 due to European noise regulations coming into effect January 1990. Eventually to Boeing for parts in the KC-135E program.

This aircraft was destroyed on 1st August 1982 during 14 hours of non-stop bombing of Beirut by Israelis as a reprisal for the shooting by PLO terrorists of the Israeli Ambassador to the UK. Six MEA Boeing 707s and 720s were destroyed.
