Delivered to Transair as G-AOXU in 1957. Merged into British United Airways in 1960. To LOT as SP-LVC in 1962, NZNAC as ZK-NAI in 1966, Pearl Air as VQ-GAB in 1975 and Southern International as G-CSZB in 1978. To British Air Ferries in 1983, Euroair in 1984 and back to British Air Ferries in 1985. Renamed to British World Airlines in 1993. Last flight to Southend in 1996 and scrapped in 1998. Nose section preserved at East Midlands Aeropark.

In storage, purchase by Royal American was not completed. No titles, but still has RA on fin.

Very interesting to compare nose sections of the Viscount and its Vanguard (Merchantman) successor.

Former New Zealand National Airways Corporation, passed through Sydney on its way to Seletar, Singapore. At least three sales fell through before ZK-BWO was scrapped at Seletar in 1981.

From new in 9.57, this Viscount's identities were G-AOXU (Transair/BUA), SP-LVC (LOT 12.62), ZK-NAI (NAC 1.67, after conv from Srs 804 to 807) and VQ-GAB (Pearl Air 7.75). Southern Int'l bought her in 5.78 but went into receivership 9.81; remaining history as per my later shots of same a/c

NZNAC's Viscount 807 in a later colour scheme at Wellington. It served the airline from 12.57 until 01.74.

Originally ZK-BRE with NZNAC and became VP-LKA, being delivered to Antigua in full Air Caribbean livery from EMA in 6.75 after preparation at BSL. Sold to Southern International in 2.78 and ferried back to Hurn via New York. Flew mercy missions into Eritrea before sale to Royal American 5.80 but remained at Stansted having failed to take up N140RA; scrapped in 9.82
