Build in 2002. In September 2003 delivered to leasing company WFBN -Wells Fargo Bank as N328NP. In February 2004 delivered to Aero-Dienst and operated for ADAC. Note ARC Europe logo on the nose.

In 2007, Lockheed Martin won the competition to build the Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft (ACCA) for the Air Force Research Laboratory (badge on tail). Designated X-55 after first flight, Lockheed modified a Fairchild Dornier 328JET with a new advanced composite fuselage section constructed as a single large component which included the vertical fin replacing the original aft of the entrance door. Oval in section, the aft end was wider to allow cargo loading via a ramp and shortened the length by 14 feet. In 2014, the aircraft was placed on display at Joe Davies Heritage Airpark in Palmdale, CA.

With small Joinjet titles (part of Sun-Air of Scandinavia). Ex D-BSUN, re-registered to OY-NCS in January 2022. Second use of this registration on a Dornier 328, previously used on 328-110 c/n 3070.

As I understand it, this fuselage section was left uncompleted when Dornier folded. If this is incorrect, or if anyone can help with more details or information, then I would be happy to update this picture. On display at this interesting place, something of a cross between a farm, zoo, restaurant and aeroplane museum.

Owned by Vision Airlines but withdrawn from use and minus wings, fin and stabilisers.
