Originally US Navy 144674 1958- 66, this Otter was among six that operated in the Antarctic for Operation Deep Freeze. It was transferred to the Army National Guard with hybrid serial 0-4674 before service with the Civil Air Patrol as N5348G in 1977. Bought by Sioux Narrows Airways in 1978, it became C-GGSL. Converted with the Polish PZL-1000 engine in 1990, it was acquired by Pipestone Air in 2005 supporting Pipestone Fly-In Outposts. This striking Walleye mural scheme was airbrushed over the winter of 2018 / 19.

Carrying Harbour Air titles and the fleet number "312", but still wearing earlier Northern Pacific Seaplanes colours from its time at Prince Rupert BC. Repainted into standard Harbour Air colours the following year.

The aircraft received a Polish PZL 1000hp engine conversion in the Fall of 1996. Sold to Excellent Adventures in 2016 after a time in storage, the aircraft was added to Clark's Air Service fleet in August 2018 to serve Clark's Northern Lights Resort.

On 21 February 2022 it was damaged at a remote strip near Deadhorse/AK when it landed short. In March 2022 it was noted here at Victoria Air Maintenance for repairs - now complete.

Beyond the glacial lake, forest fire smoke obscures the mountains in the middle distance. The US Army operated this Otter (58-1682) 1958 - 73. The aircraft was with the University of Tennessee Space Institute 1974 - 75 until it stalled on take-off and was severely damaged. Bought by Ontario Central Airlines and re-built, it was put into service June 1977. Occasionally leased out, it had a forced landing into trees with Alexandair in 1990. Flying again in 1994, River Air bought the big bush plane in 1996, It had a Texas Turbine conversion (the fourth one) in 2002 and it current with River Air at the time of uploading.

Seen over Lake Spenard, heading towards Lake Hood on a Ketchum Air Service flight. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1961 as UB658. Served with Ketchum for a little over three years from the spring of 1990. Destroyed in an accident at Nikabuna Lake, Alaska, in August 1993. Engine power was lost in the climb out due to fuel starvation. A forced landing was made on a small pond, where the aircraft overran the water into woodland and caught fire.

Making the necessarily steep approach, arriving over the city, to land in Victoria's Outer Harbour. Right wing badly damaged overnight 20/21 February 2020 while moored in Vancouver Harbour, after being struck by a stolen Seair Beaver which itself lost a wing completely.
