Overseas National Airways took delivery of this DC-8-63 freighter on May 29, 1969. Except for short periods of lease (Austrian Airlines OE - IBO 1974 74 and Loftleidir Icelandic TF-FLC 1977 - 79), it has remained registered. N865F. It was leased or chartered by a list of airlines longer than my arm before retired in 2012. The TH-28 was Enstrom's entry in the US Army's NTH (new training helicopter) program. Developed from the company's 280FX with a larger cabin and instrument panel, crashworthy seats and fuel system, turbine power and bigger tail surfaces. Although the Bell 206B-3 won the 1993 contract, Enstrom certified the TH-28 and built six for civil service before stretching the fuselage for the more successful five seat Enstrom 480.

In between the Stout AT-2 and the Ford 4-AT, Stout built this hideous trimotor aircraft. Its flying qualities were as terrible as its looks. Ford had William Stout removed from the design office and moved on with the AT-4 which looked like a metal copy of the Fokker F.VII-3m. The sole 3-AT was destroyed in a factory fire. The Ford Tri-Motor was developed from the Stout 2-AT, with the ugly Stout 3-AT trimotor looking like a step backwards. Ford Air Transport Service flew a number of 2-ATs between Ford factories, but also on America's first commercial air mail routes from 1926. Note additional 'Ford Air Port of Dearborn' titles on the tail. Florida Airways, the forerunner of Eastern Airlines, was another 2-AT operator. Photo from: Wayne State University

This Huey was built as a UH-1D and TOC by the US Army in February 1967 but from August to October it underwent conversion to a UH-1H. From April 1968 until February 1971 it was stationed in Vietnam, after which it was on loan to the University of Michigan, flew as an air ambulance in West Germany and went on loan to NASA, flew as part of the Panama Canal protection force but by 1986 had been transferred to the Illinois ANG before retirement. It is pictured here as part of the Yankee Museum's Vietnam exhibit but was later restored to airworthy status and in September 2019 registered N876GM
