Built as 43-49063 and delivered to the US Navy as bu 50769 in 1944, this C-47J was stored at Litchfield Park in 1962 before acquired by Atlas Aircraft in 1966 and registered it N91286. It came to Canada as CF-ADD in 1973. Pictured after merging with Northland Air (later Northland Air Manitoba) in 1986, the aircraft was lost on May 11, 1987. Returning to Pickle Lake after a cargo flight, the captain did some impromptu pilot training with a new first officer. The left wing failed under normal flight loads as a result of a fatigue crack and the airplane crashed 3 Km west of the airport.

It remained in the fleet through the name change to Republic Airlines and merger with Northwest Airlines. To Time Air in 1990, it would later fly with Canair Cargo from 1992 - 98 before joining Nolinor. Air Spray bought Norlinor's CV580s in 2021 for their engines and propellers for use on their Electra airtankers. C-FTAP's airframe was donated to the Time Air Historical Society while the rest were scrapped at Mirabel, QC.

In 1985 the Western Canada Aviation Museum acquired former Spanish Air Force Junkers Ju-52 T.2B-148. It was converted by Bristol Aerospace into a single-engine, static replica of Canadian Airways' CF-ARM. The real CF-ARM (under powered for the work it was doing) was scrapped in the 1940s.

US Army 53-7895 from 1954 - 73 last based in Germany was bought at auction by B & M Aviation in April 1973. Re-built and civilianized, it was sold as C-GAEB to Athabaska Airways Bought by a a group operating as Transwest Air 2001 - 13, the floatplane is now owned by a numbered company operating for Elk Island Lodge & Outposts. The aircraft is pictured in Selkirk being prepared for winter storage.

US Army 53-7895 from 1954 - 73 last based in Germany was bought at auction by B & M Aviation in April 1973. Re-built and civilianized, it was sold as C-GAEB to Athabaska Airways Bought by a a group operating as Transwest Air 2001 - 13, the floatplane is now owned by a numbered company operating for Elk Island Lodge & Outposts. The aircraft is pictured in Selkirk being prepared for winter storage.

Later VH-AEZ with Trans Australian Airlines, the aircraft worked it's way around the world as VR-NCO, 5B-AA, EI-ANK, G-ATBE before coming to Canada in 1970 for North Coast Air Services. After it's first flight on February 5, 1968, CF-WTE conducted a round the world sales tour for DHC. Leased to Georgian Bay Airways and Nordair Arctic in 1969 for demonstrations, the aircraft was delivered to La Ronge Aviation in December 1969. It was sold to Walsten Air Services in 1993 and on to West Coast Air in 2007 keeping much the same colors. Later getting the white / neon green West Coast colors, the aircraft went to Skydive Dubai, via a US Broker after 200HG series conversion in 2015. First registered DU-SD7, it has been A6-SD7 since October 2019.

After it's first flight on February 5, 1968, CF-WTE conducted a round the world sales tour for DHC. Leased to Georgian Bay Airways and Nordair Arctic in 1969 for demonstrations, the aircraft was delivered to La Ronge Aviation in December 1969. It was sold to Walsten Air Services in 1993 and on to West Coast Air in 2007 keeping much the same colors. Later getting the white / neon green West Coast colors, the aircraft went to Skydive Dubai, via a US Broker after 200HG series conversion in 2015. First registered DU-SD7, it has been A6-SD7 since October 2019.
