First taking to the air in June of 1955, this B-52 began its illustrious, nearly 50-year USAF and NASA career as a bomb navigation system test airplane for the USAF's B-52 fleet. Ironically, test bomber spent most of its career dropping flight research vehicles rather than bombs. In 1959, it became one of two mothership launch aircraft for the X-15 program, which paved the way for America's early manned spaceflight efforts. Nicknamed "Double-0-Eight" and "Balls Eight" cut its teeth launching 106 of the 199 X-15 flights. At its retirement on 17 December 2004, Balls 8 was the oldest active B-52.

This Eagle was visiting Soesterberg from its homebase Keflavik (Iceland). The F-15C was delivered to the USAF on 16 Apr'82 and first served the 94th TFS from Langley AFB (VA) before it was transferred to Kef. The 57th was disbanded and this 047 was the last Eagle to leave Kef on 1 Oct'94. Moved to Eglin AFB (FL) with the 85th TES and later the 422nd TES (both 'OT'). The Eagle was almost written off on 24 Oct'02 when one engine ran out of oil. After repair it was moved to the 57th Wing at Nellis ('WA'), and later to the 114th FS of the Oregon ANG. Stored at AMARG on 1 Aug'22.

Returning from operation Desert Storm with a desert camouflage pattern. The recce F1 was withdrawn from use in April 2004.

Ex Luftwaffe RF-104G 24+64. This Starfighter arrived at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center on 2 July 1975 and remained in service up to October 1993. It is now preserved at Edwards.

This early manufactured F/A-18A (Block 4) was delivered to the US Navy with BuNo 161214 on 8 August 1980. The aircraft served Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 4 and then VFA-125 from October 1982. It was converted to F/A-18A(R) and was assigned to the NATC from October 1985. The Hornet was transferred to the NASA on 28 August 1987 and became 161214 with code NASA 842 (as pictured). Later it was (unconfirmed) reported as N817NA with code NASA 842. It was stored at Edwards in May 1995 and was cannibalized. Since 13 February 1997 preserved with the Jethawks Stadium at Lancaster (CA).

This desert Jag (its jacket during operation Desert Storm) was earlier withdrawn from use and stored at Chateaudun. It was last seen at the dump of St. Dizier in late 2017.

Built as an F-4E and transferred to the Royal Australian Air Force as 97209. Returned from Down-Under and rebuilt to F-4G Wild Weasel. It served the USAFE with the 52nd TFW from Spangdahlem (Germany) before it was transferred to the 35th TFW at George AFB (CA, with tailcode WW). Withdrawn from service on 8 May 1992 and stored at AMARC with inventory code FP0849. Selected for the QF-4G program and moved from storage to Mojave on 17 May 1999. Rebuilt with Marconi Flight Systems and delivered to the 82nd ATRS on 28 December 1999 with coide DD250. Written off on 1 February 2006.

The PIK-20E was a sailplane flown at NASA's Ames-Dryden Flight Research Facility (now Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, California) between 1981 and 1991. The vehicle, was used as a research vehicle on projects calling for high lift-over-drag and low-speed performance. Later NASA used the PIK-20E to study the flow of fluids over the aircraft's surface at various speeds and angles of attack as part of a study of airflow efficiency over lifting surfaces.

Withdrawn from use in 1995 and sold to the USA as N6UH. The Alouette 3 is now preserved in Ramona (CA).

Three F-5A's and three F-5B's from the 152 Filo of the Turkish Air Force arrived at Eindhoven air base (the Netherlands) for a squadron rotation with 314sq, the local NF-5A/B squadron. This F-5B is a former USAF aircraft and was sold to Turkey in 1986. It was withdrawn from use by June 2013. It was most probably scrapped afterwards

Three F-5A's and three F-5B's from the 152 Filo of the Turkish Air Force arrived at Eindhoven air base (the Netherlands) for a squadron rotation with 314sq, the local NF-5A/B squadron. This FY67 F-5A was a former Lybian Arab Air Force Frredom Fighter (serial 21199). It was delivered to Turkey - together with six other F-5s - in September 1975. The aircraft sadly crashed on 22 June 1987 near Inebolu (Turkey).

Three F-5A's and three F-5B's from the 152 Filo of the Turkish Air Force arrived at Eindhoven air base (the Netherlands) for a squadron rotation with 314sq, the local NF-5A/B squadron. This F-5A was delivered to Turkey via the Military Assistance Progr (MAP in 1971. It was probably modified to F-5A-2000 in 2004 and eventually the F-5A was withdrawn from use by June 2013. IThe Freedom Fighter is reported preserved at Ahmetbey (Turkey) at the Kirklareli Ahmad Bey since January 2016.
