Continental's 737-300 was relatively uncommon in San Diego after the introduction of the airline's next generation 737 aircraft in the late 1990s. They were all retired by Continental before the merger with United Airlines a few years after this photo was taken.
German charter airline Hamburg International operated this single 737-300 for a fairly short period of time. Unfortunately, the airline ceased operations in October 2010. Aircraft previously flew with Air Columbus, TAP Air Portugal, Air Plus Comet, Air Europe, Norway Airlines, Monarch Airlines, TransBrasil, and Skywings International. Currently with Magnicharters in Mexico.
Unmarked special visitor arriving in Berlin. Always a treat to see a Russian aircraft at TXL. This one started its career with Aeroflot as CCCP-42415, and later served with Astrakhan Airlines, Aero Asia, Karat, Tulpar Air, and most recently, Rusair.
Seen pulling into a gate below the great observation terrace at AMS. This aircraft has since been retired by BA and was sold to Cobham Aviation Services of Australia, where it was re-registered as VH-NJP.
