This A6M5 was shot down on 19 June 1944, crash landing in a swamp near Agana Airfield, Guam. It was discovered in 1962 and was shipped to Japan in 1964. It was restored with the original markings it wore when assigned to the 343 Kokutai at Agana. It is currently on display at the JASDF Museum in Hamamatsu, Japan.

This aircraft was on display in a San Diego, CA. playground for many years. In 1959 it was transferred to the USAF Museum. It underwent an in depth restoration from 2000 through 2008, and is now on display in the WW2 Gallery. This slide was taken in the outdoor aircraft display area at the original museum on Patterson AFB.

This is actually NF-4C 63-7654 painted as F-4C 63-7499. This a/c has been restored to represent an F-4C from the 433 TFS, 8 TFW when based in Thailand. This a/c will be on display at the General "Chappie" James, Jr. Memorial Plaza at the north end of the new Pensacola Bay Bridge. General James was the Vice Wing Commander of the 8th Fighter Wing in the mid 1960s, flying 78 combat missions over North Vietnam. The National Naval Aviation Museum provided work space and other assistance for the a/c during its restoration.

This NF-4C had been on display for many years at American Legion Post 17 in Gallatin, TN. It was relocated to Pensacola, FL., arriving on 22 April 2022. Since this photo was taken it has been restored and repainted to represent an F-4C flown by General "Chappie" James, Jr. in Vietnam. This a/c will be on display at the General "Chappie" James, Jr. Memorial Plaza which will be located at the north end of the new Pensacola Bay bridge currently under construction. The new bridge is also to be named in honor of General James.
