To think that this Gazelle is the only one operating in Ecuador already makes this photo strange, but the fact of seeing it land in the Bicentenario Park is even more strange. It arrived at SEQU after participating alongside many other helicopters in the parade for the 212 years of the Independence of Ecuador. Some months after this photo, another Gazelle was put into service again. But, on March 12th, 2022 the other Gazelle crashed at Portoviejo and this one sadly remains as the only one operating in Ecuador for now.

My first time photographing a B738BCF. This beautiful DHL freighter operated by iAero Airways (as you can see by the different colored winglet) landing just after the rain over the airport. This aircraft was replacing the night flights with B734F and B752F of DHL Aero Expreso from Panamá.

This was the first plane of Equair, that arrived to the country last December 4th, 2021 after a journey through ILD-KEF-BOS-LTX and had it first arrival to Quito from Latacunga, 12 days later with the livery already painted.
