This K-8B was amateur-built by a club or group and registered D-0131. In Nov-1985 it became OO-ZOX.

Built in 1990 by L.Quintens, it was first registered 21-Aug-1990 as OO-970, but already 28-Aug-1990 it was reregistered as OO-123. On 24-Oct-1990 it was registered again as OO-970. The reason for these changes was some confusion if the aircraft belonged in the amateur-built category, or in the ultralight one. There is also some confusion about the cn: from the aircraft it was read off as 01, while the official Belgian register says 02. Here it is seen in flight, a rare sight to see the famous 1935 Flying Flea airborne in modern times. The construction of the variable-incidence stall-free front wing is clearly visible here. The rear wing is fixed.

Built by Siebert, it was registered as D-5104. In Aug-1979 it was registered in Belgium as OO-ZMT. It is seen here on finals for Rwy 24.

F-BRKD was registered in Jun-1969

This HM-8 was built by André and Emmanuel Lerin and made its first flight as F-WYTA on 14-Nov-1985. It was registered as F-PYTA in Nov-1986. This was cancelled end 2001 and in Apr-2002 it went to the Musée Régional de l'Air at Angers, in 2013 renamed Espace Air Passion.

F-CCCZ was built in 1964 and registered in May-1965. This registration was cancelled in Sep-1980 as withdrawn from use. It later went to the Musée Régional de l'Air, in 2003 renamed Espace Air Passion at Angers.

F-AMBV made its first flight on 11-Feb-1932. As "Arc-en-Ciel" it became famous as the first landplane to cross the South Atlantic on a flight Paris - Buenos Aires, starting on 07-Jan-1933. In May-1934 it was converted to Couzinet 71. It flew first with Aéropostale and later with Air France. Already withdrawn from use in 1937, it was destroyed in its hangar by fire in 1940 during World War II. Only the rudder remains.

F-BKLN was registered in Jun-1962. It later went to Espace Air Passion at Angers where it is stored outside.

Built in 1977 as N9503N, it became D-ENNY at a currently unknown date

F-CCGK was registered in Jul-1959. It later went to the Musée Régional de l'Air, later renamed Espace Air Passion at Angers.

Testflown as F-WWMG it was registered HB-IBH in Aug-1997. This registration was cancelled in Dec-2012 and then it became temporarily F-WHLX before being registered CS-DTZ.

This Alcyon was built in 1958 and was delivered to the French AF as 154. In Jun-1966 it became civil as F-BNEI. This registration was cancelled in Feb-1996. The Musée Régional de l'Air salvaged the wreck in 1999 and started to restore the aircraft with the help of parts from other aircraft. It was registered as F-BXJR in Jan-2008 and on 08-Mar-2008 it made its first flight after restoration. The museum was later renamed Espace Air Passion.

This is a replica of the very first rocket-engined aircraft in the world. The original Ente was built as a glider and made its first flight in Jun-1927. It was converted as the Raketen-Ente and as such flew on 11-Jun-1928, first with two 12 kg rockets and in the end with two 20 kg ones. The rockets were ignited after a bungee launch. It then flew 1400m in one minute. On a later flight the same day the aircraft caught fire but a safe landing could hastily be made. In Oct-1928 it was exposed at the ILA Berlin. The non-airworthy replica was built by the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum.

Octave Chanute in the USA was quite successful with his 1896 glider. In 1904 a slightly different version was built for the Saint Louis Exposition where it was flown daily from Oct. 7 to 25. After that it was shipped to France where it is now in the Musée de l'Air in Paris. The one shown here is a replica built by Carsten Brinkmeier, finished in Jun-2006. A few flight attempts were made, but for safety reasons no full flight was made. In Oct-2006 it was handed over to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe.

D-1398 served for more than 20 years as a research aircraft at the DLR - Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt. It was equipped with sensors and instruments in the wings and fuselage to do measurements in the lower atmosphere. Later it went to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum as seen here. The Kranich III was designed by Hans Jacobs and made its first flight in 1952.

Built in 1957 it was delivered to the French Army as 38 and coded MJC. In 1993 it was registered as F-BFKL and later went to the Musée Régional de l'Air at Angers-Loire which in 2013 changed its name to Espace Air Passion.

The Rhönsperber was designed for Schweyer by Hans Jacobs and the prototype made its first flight in Mar-1935. The aircraft on the photo was built somewhere between 1935 and 1938 and its cn and original registration are unknown. It later became D-6262 until cancelled in Jul-1970. Then it went to Sammlung Welzhofer in Günzburg until acquired by the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe. To commemorate the first prototype D-Rhönsperber from 1935 the museum painted it in that aircraft's contemporary markings (except for the text on the fin).

Built as a CH-147 with cn G-006, it was allocated US Army serial 74-22063 but this was not used, it went to the Canadian AF as 147006 where it was taken on charge in May-1975. It was struck of charge in Dec-1991 and then allocated US Army serial 93-0664 for rebuild as CH-47D with a new cn M3664/NL-004 and delivered to the Netherlands AF as D-664, taken on charge in Dec-1995. Built as 727-51C N493US and making its first flight 19-May-1966 it was delivered to Northwest AL 27-May. In Sep-1981 it was reregistered as N418EX with Emery Worldwide. In Jul-1992 it became N904UP with UPS and was converted to 727-51C/QF. It was cancelled in May-2007 and broken-up at Roswell - Industrial Air Center, NM.
