Hit white-out conditions in South Georgia on 22nd April 1982 while attempting to extract SAS team from crashed XT464. The stbd wheel hit the ground and aircraft rolled onto its stbd side. All survived and were picked up by XP142. Aircraft abandoned on site.

Macedonian Aviation was formed in the summer of 1972 with this C-47 and, later, Dove G-APZU, both based at Southend. G-AMPO carried out the first service on 5th November 1972, from Southend to Amsterdam. The Dove arrived on 24th November 1972. The airline ceased flying in November 1974 by which time it had acquired 5 C-47s all of which were transferred to Humber Airways.
