A nice overview of the Texel Airshow in 1989. The airshow is always a good one, with lots of visitors and often interesting exhibits/performers. Some of the noteworthy aircraft in this photo are a Harrier, Fokker F-27, Grasshopper Alouettes and the Catalina. I counted (parts of) 126 aircraft, but there may be more! Photo by Aerophoto Eelde

Interflug's first Tu-134 during a press photo event, a few days after its first arrival. The aircraft was substantially damaged at Berlin-Schönefeld on October 30, 1972 when it landed hard in poor weather. A runway excursion was the result and the aircraft ran off the side of runway 25L. The aircraft was ferried to the Soviet Union but it was decided not to repair the aircraft. I've seen the color version of this photo, but unfortunately I only have a print in black & white.

Registered to the RLS in February 1962 as PH-RLX, cancelled in September 1973. Registered G-BCFT in May 1974, cancelled in April 1977. To Norway in August 1977 as LN-MAA, cancelled April 1990. Registered SE-KPN in June 1990 and reportedly still active at the time of the upload. Based on the photo date as well as other factors, I have a strong suspicion that the aircraft is pictured here while on delivery to Norway. Seen here on a stopover from Rotterdam to Bremen. The aircraft entered the Dutch register in January 1973 and was owned by many people/organisations until the registration was cancelled in September 1988. In April 1987 the aircraft was damaged at Lelystad, which seems to have been the likely reason for its early retirement. The aircraft was scrapped at Lelystad late 1988. Photo from Harm Reinders
