Built 1992, 1st registered as CCCP-31587 and RA-31587, becoming HB-XKE in June of 1996. In it's 25 years of service in Switzerland, this KA-32 has been operating under various AOC's. During a brief periode between May 2007 and March 2008, it belonged to joint venture Heliswiss-Helog, as can bee seen in this picture. Since the KA-32A12 version did not obtain EASA approval, the helicopter had to be sold by the end of 2021, and is now registered in Chile as CC-DGC. At the time of upload, Heliswiss International still operates an EASA approved KA-32A11BC, registered HB-XKA.

The academy of the indonesian Air Force is based at Adisutjipto and from there operates a few Cessna 152, 172 and 182's. The purpose of those aircraft is to tow gliders, serve as liaison aircraft and also to give potential military pilot students some basic flying experience (no training). The basic and advanced military pilot training is conducted by the TNI-AU's flight training squadron 101, since 2014 equipped with Grob 120TP aircraft.

The first of some 350 Skyhawks to serve with the IAF was delivered on December 29, 1967, making Israel the 2nd largest operator of this aircraft outside the US. In 1985, Israel sold 30 A-4E's and two TA-4H's to Indonesia. Over the years, many more ex IAF Skyhawks found their way to North America. "421" seen here had US Bu number 159538 and was sold to Top Aces as N390TA after Israel retired the remaining A-4 fleet in December 2015. In July of 2022, this a/c was cancelled from the FAA register when the aircraft was exported to Canada.

In 2008, Wamena airport became the "Eldorado" for BAE-146 cargo airplanes, after Trigana and Merpati phased out their F-27's and before Boeing 737's were allowed to land at this remote airport. PK-VTM is the 9th production BAe146, built in 1983 and has previously been with the Government of Mali (TZ-ADT), Australia's National Jet Express (VH-NJZ) and in the Philippines as RP-C2999 (with Asian Spirit and later Zest Airways). Joint Manunggal Air in November 2008, withdrawn from use when Manunggal went out of business in 2015.

For almost 21 years, this 1994 built B737-300 flew for Air Madagascar, before it joined the fleet of Trans Air Congo as TN-MAN in May of 2015. The airframe is reported to be stored in Amman (Jordan) since March 2019. It is seen here during better days, taxying out for it's first commercial flight in the (then) new Air Madagascar livery. After a severe political crises in 2002, which brought the national airline of Madagascar close to bankruptcy, Lufthansa Consulting helped Air Madagascar to get "back on track". This attractive livery was part of the re-branding.

C-GBYU was one of two CL-215 based at Yellowknife during the 2007 fire season, at that time being operated by Buffalo Airways on behalf of the Northwest Territories Government. This aircraft was built in 1985 and has first been operated by Conair Aviation before joining Buffalo Airways . It appears that this airframe has been modified to CL-415 standard in early 2021 by Viking Air, the owner of the type certificate. The modification mainly consists of new and more powerful turbine engines, plus structural changes on the wing tips and elevator / horizontal stabilizer.

It was operated as VH-FDR (a registration previously assigned to RFDS Beech 200C Super King Air c/n BL-39) till November 2021, when it was re-registered to VH-VJU. Delivered new to the Swiss AF in February 2019. With a max range of 2000 NM / 3700 km, this jet was perfect to fly Swiss government officials around Europe. However, it appears that some ministers were not happy with the size of the cabin and toilet layout and thus, often the bigger Falcon 900 (serialled T-785) was "booked" instead. In due course the Swiss government decided to sell this PC-24 again and therefore, it will be phased out from the Swiss AF inventory by the end of November 2022. Built in 2002, delivered new to Air Grischa which operated it till 2006, when bought by Eagle Helicopter (still wearing the Air Grischa livery in this picture). Eagle Helicopter was founded in 2002 and started to operate a K-Max, but soon thereafter added two AS350's in order to be more reactive and flexible to customer needs. Unfortunately, Eagle Helicopter went "belly up" in July of 2014, the assets being transferred to a new ownership which continues to fly as "Eagle Valais Helicopter". HB-ZES is still operational and by now one of the oldest B3's in Switzerland.

The first eight indonesian AF T-50's (serialled TT-5001 through TT-5008) - of a total of sixteen delivered - have initially worn this blue and yellow paint scheme. It appears that the TNI-AU planned to revive with those aircraft the "Elang Biru" display team, which was active between 1995 and 2000, flying F-16A's from Squadron 3 in the very same colors. The revival plans never materialised though and by now, all remaining T-50's wear a green / grey camo livery as per picture ID 417716. "TT" stands for "Tempur Taktis" or Tactical Fighter.

Lining up on runway 14 of it's home base for another flight to Bangkok, this 1997 built airframe served with Air Mauritius all it's life. Stored in October 2020 due to the Corona pandemic, then flown to Twenthe in July 2021 and finally broken up there during 2022. Even though designed for longhaul flights, Air Mauritius regulary used it's A340's to serve regional destinations like the neighboring islands of Madagascar and La Reunion as well.

Bought by swiss foundation Helimission in 2014 and overhauled by Swiss Helicopter Maintenance (SHM) where this picture was taken just after the work has been completed. Ex US Army serial 79-23286, registered to Timberline Helicopters as N286TH in late 2016. High Performance Helicopters took it on board in 2017 and used it for trial and certification flights of (Australian company) Helitak's Fire Tank FT4500 system. Certified in January 2020, the water tank is seen here mounted under the heli's cabin, measuring only 12 inches in it's empty profile. It takes the - also visible - orange HP6000 snorkel pump just 46 seconds to fill the 1100 US-Gallon tank, which then expands under the belly. After the drop, it automatically retracts to its empty profile again.

This 2008 built AW139 has been delivered to Elilario, and then in March 2009 joined the fleet of INEAR Italy. When INEAR was gradually taken over by Babcock International as from 2014, this heli joint the Babcock fleet too. With any markings - other than the blue Babcock logo - absent, it seems to serve as spare heli at the time of upload. As such it was in Borgosesia covering for an Air Green AW139 under maintenance and a week later was flying HEMS mission between Lampedusa and Sicilia in southern Italy already.

The italian fire service (Vigili del Fuoco - VdF) has been flying licenced built Agusta-Bell 412's since June of 1984. 23 units have been purchased directly and serialled VF-50 through VF-72. Civilian registrations starting with I-VF... are assigned as well, but not visible externally. When the "Corpo Forestale dello Stato", another italian state organisation was disabled in 2016, some twelve 2nd hand AB412CS's were transferred to the VdF. Those helis were re-serialled to VF-114 (ex CFS-14) to VF-127 (ex CFS-27). Some of them still kept the green CFS livery for a while.
