Ex 3A-MJP (Heli Air Monaco), see also picture ID 426021. After seing this heli in Monaco in September of 1993, it was a joy to have another encounter with it some 20 years later, on the other side of the planet. RP-C1207 still wears the Heli Air Monaco colors when it was photographed during relief efforts after typhoon Haiyan (locally known as typhoon Yolanda) swept through the central Philippines in November of 2013. From the stickers applied, it appears that the Eurocopter foundation made it available to Geneva based aid organisation "Medecins Sans Frontieres" (Doctors Without Borders).

Developped from the single engine SA-360 Dauphin (only 36 units built), the SA-365C Dauphin 2 was just a bit more successfull, with some 80 units manufactured between 1977 & 1981. The Dauphin-Series only became a success with the introduction of the AS-365N version. 3A-MJP is a 1978 built airframe first operated in the US as N90049, followed by a conversion to C3 standard in 1984 (registered F-WYMC). Heli Air Monaco then flew it till around 2012. In July 2011, this airframe wore a Israel AF type camo livery for Bratt Pitts movie World War Z (shot in Malta). Sold to the Philippines as RP-C1207.

This italian built AW139 has been flying for or within the worldwide acting Helicopters NZ group since it was manufactured in late 2008. It briefly went on the New Zealand register as ZK-HUL before flying as VH-NZE for HNZ Australia Pty between January 2009 and March 2011. It is seen here passing through Subang on it's way to Thailand, becoming HS-SFH a few days later. Leased to and flying for SFS Aviation till May 2014. Back to Australia as VH-NZZ, then ZK-IHP and to Papua New Guinea as P2-NZE from 2016-2018. Operating in the yellow/black PHI (NZ Ltd) livery as ZK-IHP at the time of upload.

This 1999 built airframe first carried registration F-OHVO before being registered in Malaysia as 9M-JPG. It was later re-registered to 9M-ABU and operated by MAJU Holding, as can be seen on the cowling in this 2005 picture. In June of 2006, the heli was sold to Phoenix Heli-Flight in Canada, where it became C-GTWN. In due course, MAJU Holding replaced this Twin Ecureuil with an EC135P2+, which also got registration 9M-ABU.

Not much is known about malaysian company "Integrated Training & Services", except that in 2005/2006 it tried to provide basic helicopter flight training for the Royal Malaysian AF. For that, the company aquired four EC120s registered 9M-HAA through 9M-HAD, but never really "took off". 9M-HAB shown here was built in 1998 and as such is one of the first Colibri's coming off the assembly line. It previously flew as SE-JDP with HeliNord in Sweden before joining ITS in 2005. In April 2007 it was sold to North America, where it has been flying as C-GOCA for different helicopter operators.

This 2017 built Ecureuil joined the Air Zermatt fleet in June of 2018. It was imported new to Switzerland by Europavia (Suisse) SA, the official Airbus Helicopter representative and broker for Switzerland. In order to satisfy the usually high demand of AS350B3's for swiss customers, Europavia keeps two or three units of this successful helicopter "in stock" at any given time, allowing them to deliver on short notice if need be.

This 1997 built Grand Caravan first flew for six years as N103VE with Viking Express before being sold to Air Paradive in May 2003. Air Paradive owns and operates the HaBonim airstrip, located 20km south of Haifa and running parallel next to the Tel Aviv - Haifa railway. The company was founded by a former Israel AF F-16 pilot but it is THE skydive center in Israel, with the very nice beach close by. That's what keeps the Caravan busy, but leaves no time to add a nicer color to the airplane...

This 1986 built 737 has been flying for many different airlines and carried the following registrations: EC-EAK, N102GU, SP-LMB, TJ-CBF, N535GE, TF-SUN and TF-ELQ. It was converted to a freighter by IAI in Tel Aviv in 2004 and then sold to TNT Airways as OO-TNE. Indonesian cargo airlines Cardig Air took charge of it in early April 2012 and used it heavily to haul cargo between Jayapura-Sentani and Wamena in Papua. It was where it's fate was sealed after it touched down to early and damaged beyond repair on August 28, 2015, and then broken up.

Heli Bernina, founded in 1985 by Hansueli Baerfuss (a swiss helicopter pioneer) and Leo Caminada, is a small but successful helicopter operator based at Samedan Airport. In 1991, the company took delivery of the first AS-350B2 helicopters painted in an all yellow livery. This color became HB's "brand" and has been applied to all new AS350B3's. HB-ZIS shown here was built in 2008 and flew for Heli Bernina till June 4, 2013, when it was sold to fellow swiss operator Air Glaciers based in Lauterbrunnen. Unfortunately, it crashed on July 14, 2015, killing the pilot, the sole person on board.

Indonesia was the 1st export customer of the Korean built KT-1 and initially received 17 units (serialled LD-0101 through LD-0117) and assigned to Training Squadron 102 in Yogyakarta. LD-0105 still wears the big black serials instead of "TNI-AU" letters later applied. By now, all TNI-AU KT-1's are assigned to the Jupiter Aerobatic Team, and have been re-serialled to LL-01XX (LD-0105 shown here became LL-0105). As of December 2021, at least two additional KT-1's are about to join the fleet to make up for the few aircraft lost during accidents. They will become LL-0118 and LL-0119.

Between 1993 and 1998, the french Marine / Navy took delivery of 15 improved AS-565SA Panther helicopters and assigned them to flotille 36F. In 2009, a 16th helicopter (c/n 6403 serialled 403) previously used for the testflight unit (CEV - Centre d'Essais en Vol) joined the fleet. "505" - pictured here during relief efforts after cyclone "Gafilo" hit Madagascar's east coast in March 2004 - was built in 1997 and became the prototype for version Standard 2. Not sure what that means as the remaining 15 seem to be Standard 1, according to http://www.ffaa.net/helicopters/panther/fleet.htm.

This B737 was the only dash 500 with La Reunion based Air Austral. In November of 1990, it was delivered new to Europe Aero Service as F-GHXN but joined the Air Austral fleet already a month later (December 19, 1990). As such, it was a frequent visitor to Madagascar's capital Antananarivo, and the picture shown here was shot from the control tower, exposing the typical rice fields in the background. Withdrawn from use in 2011 and scrapped in October 2012.

This airframe initially served with the South African AF, carrying serial "140" and being of the version SA-330C Puma. It was then sold to Denel, who converted it to the version SA-330J under registration ZU-AZJ, before it joined the Cameroon AF in 1997. Two other Pumas had previously entered service with the Cameroon AF, one being TJ-AAL (c/n 1146) in the early 1970's, the 2nd being TJ-XCG (c/n 1181) in 1995. In 2004, the Swiss AF became launch customer for the PC-21, and initially ordered six units (serials A-101 through A-106), which for the first few years carried this special red / white livery, before they received an almost complete red paint scheme with only a thin white cheatline. In December of 2010, an additional two PC-21 were ordered, they became A-107 (c/n 153) and A-108 (c/n 154). Pictured here is the first Swiss AF PC-21, still carrying it's civilian test registration HB-HYA before entering service as A-101 with the pilot school at Emmen AB.

Licence built by Turkish Aerospace under the "Peace Onyx III" Foreign Miltary Sales program. Unfortunately, no visible serial can be seen on this airframe, but it is believed to be the same aircraft which alreday had a special - but different - livery during the NTM 2012. Thus, confirmation if this actually is 94-0108 with c/n HD-10 is much appreciated. According to F-16.net, this airframe serves with 151 Filo since July 2018.

With a total of 123 MBB BO-105CB/CBS licence produced by Nurtanio-IPTN in Bandung (becoming NBO-105's), this rugged helicopter enjoyed high popularity among the armed forces and private operators of Indonesia. HR-1518 pictured here is one of at least seven NBO-105's operated by the TNI-AU (Indonesian AF) but assigned to the national SAR agency, better known as BASARNAS (Badan SAR Nasional). In November of 1968, this airframe was delivered new to the Royal Saudi AF's 16 Sqn based in Jeddah, carrying serial "1606". In June 2002, it was assigned to the RSAF's 4 Sqn and re-serialled to "479". It was put up for sale - being an older E-Model - around 2007 and consequently bought by the Turkish AF, which assigned serial "68-01606" to it, a mix of the year of manufacture and the first serial it carried while flying for the Royal Saudi AF.
