Loaned to the Toronto Aerospace Museum (later known as the Canadian Air and Space Museum) in 2008, the aircraft was sold in 2013 when the museum was evicted from it's original DHC factory building. In 1974, the Canadian Armed Forces started taking delivery of new C-130Hs to bolster the fleet of older C-130Es. This one was delivered October 16, 1974. It was the first Canadian Hercules painted in camouflage in 1982. Pictured in that grey color scheme, it was to be the only one to use all greys. Later aircraft replaced the light grey with green. The transport was involved in a mid air collision with 130331 on March 29, 1985 during a three ship flypast at Namao, AB (CYED). Both aircraft crashed.

Seaboard World (N125SW) operated this CL-44 1951 - 68. Next leased to TransGlobe Airways (G-AWDK) for a year, the "swing tail" freighter was returned and stored in the UK. Acquired by Tradwinds in February 1969, it's pictured on a rare visit to Toronto. It was sold to Bayu Indonesia Air in 1979 and became PK-BAZ. Operated until it was stored in 1986 at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport in Jakarta, it was broken up there around 2004.

This Jet Commander was first delivered to Radley Investments as CF-KBI in January 1969. Temporarily registered N27TC after sold to US re-sellers in September 1973, the jet became CF-EYG with Comstock International in November 1973. The aircraft struck the ground at Winnipeg doing a visual approach on May 26, 1978. There was fog in the area at the time, but luckily the two crew and one passenger survived..

Damaged in a forced landing after the engine failed in September 1971, C-FUJM was tied up in court proceedings on who was responsible for repair of the aircraft for five years. Rebuilt in 1976 and painted in this new color scheme, the Otter was ferried to Vancouver for lease to Tyee Airways, but that lease fell through. It was stored until sold to West Coast Air in January 1977. Later painted in West Coast's full colors (and after that Air BC and Trans-Provincial Airways).

In 1953 Buttonville Airport was a grass strip in the neighborhood of Buttonville in Markham, ON. When this photo was taken, the airport was still 10 km north of Toronto's city limits with two runways and a daytime control tower. Twenty years later it would be surrounded by the larger city's growth. Sold in 2009 for development, there were several eminent closure announcements made until the axe fell on November 30, 2023 when it was permanently closed and the tenants forced out. At the time of uploading, demolition of the facilities has begun to make way for an industrial development.
