It must have been stored for some time as it was bought by Bancroft Industries in 1963 and donated to the National Aeronautical Collection same year. The airline had two Dash 8 accidents September 7 and 12, 2007 where a main landing gear collapsed on landing. They grounded the fleet until the aircraft were inspected. After suffering another landing gear incident (with an unrelated cause) on October 27, SAS withdrew the type from service. This aircraft was stored in Denmark until sold and flown to Sault Ste. Marie, ON in December 2012. The aircraft was scrapped.
