This Noratlas was taken on charge on 11 Apr 1956 and struck off charge on 23 Aug 1982. It went to the Musée de l'Aéronautique de Nancy in that same year, and from here on its history matches that of sistership N° 54 at the same museum. The museum and its collection sustained severe damage during a storm in Dec 1999 and was forced to close in 2000. Both N° 54 and N° 97 remained in the closed museum until at least Sep 2003, but by Aug 2004 the pair had moved to this museum in Albert. This photo shows N° 97, still with remnants of earlier codes 55-KB (carried Oct 1980-Jul 1981) and 63-WB (Jul 1981-Feb 1982) on the left tailboom.

This former USAAF C-45B (ex 43-35492) was lend-leased to the Royal Canadian Air Force in Dec 1943 as an Expeditor I, serialled HB122. On 3 Sep 1952 it was converted to an Expeditor 3T, and ten years later, on 19 Mar 1962, it was sold to the French Air Force, where it became N° 122, coded MT-10. There it last served with GAEL (Groupe Aérien d'Entraînement et de Liaison) and in this photo it still has their emblem on the nose. It was struck off charge on 18 May 1972 and stored at Châteaudun. In 1985 the Beech was acquired by AMPAA (Association des Mécaniciens Pilotes d'Aéronefs Anciens) and preserved at Étampes. In the mid 1990s it moved to the Musée de l'Aviation in Warluis, as seen here.

F-BICV was the last HD-34 built, making its first flight on 13 Mar 1959. It was officially accepted by Institut Géographique National on 24 Apr 1959 and registered to them as F-BICV on 9 Jun 1959. The aircraft served with IGN until 1987, when it made its last flight to Creil on delivery to the Aéroclub de Creil-Chantilly-Senlis for static display. The registration was subsequently cancelled from the register on 8 Oct 1987. The type's unusually large wing span is apparent in this photo.

This Noratlas was delivered to the Armée de l'Air on 22 Dec 1954 and struck off charge on 4 June 1976 with 10,284 flying hours. During that time it served with nine units, the last of which was the storage handling unit Entrepôt de l'Armée de l'Air 601 (EAA 601) in May and June 1976. In this photo it carries their designation on the fin. The aircraft was transferred to the Musée de l'Air at Le Bourget and trucked there on 4 June 1976. On 22 July 1987 it was trucked to the Stade de la Rose des Vents stadium for display, as seen here. Fake code "50-CB" was never carried and its origins are unclear.

By 2014 these nice French markings had been replaced by much more common USAAF markings. Neither scheme reflects the aircraft's true identity, which is ex USAAF 42-44467 and Belgian Air Force H-61 / H-103. It became F-BJBM in Oct 1959 (used for Air France pilot training), then F-AZRD in Feb 1998. The latter date is also when it received the markings seen here.

This Beech 18 is ex F-BHMM, which was briefly based at Lognes in the early 2000s and ended up stored here in late 2003. Its registration was cancelled on 8 Mar 2005 as having been exported to the USA, but apparently those plans fell through because in 2006 it had registration F-AZZF reserved for it. However, even though it was painted as such, it was never officially registered with that reg. This Beech was last seen at Lognes in May 2011, and its current whereabouts are unclear. On 14 Aug 2014 the registration F-AZZF was allocated to a CASA 1-131E Jungmann.

This Deux-Ponts (double decker) was delivered to Air France in Jul 1953 as F-BASS, and transferred to the Armée de l'Air in June 1964 as 306/82-PP. Withdrawn from use in Aug 1967 and stored at Le Bourget. In 1968 the aircraft was acquired by Jean-Claude Savigny (on behalf of the Aéro-club Etienne-Boileau), dismantled at Le Bourget and trucked to Fontenay-Trésigny. In 1984 the aeroclub changed its name to Aéro-club de Chaubuisson, and in that same year they converted their Deux-Ponts into a bar/restaurant. The fictitious registration F-BACC was then chosen to show the initials of the aeroclub's new name.

Operated by Centre National d'Études des Télécommunications (CNET) as 13142 / F-SEBD since 1964, until transferred to Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis (AJBS) on 24 May 1980. In 1981 it was allocated registration F-BLOZ, but this was not taken up. In the mid 1980s it became a static exhibit at La Ferté-Alais, and in 1989 it was used in the movie "Suivez Cet Avion", painted with "Honeymoon Airways" titles. In the 1990s the C-47 was painted in USAAF markings with various fake serials, first 315111, then 315101 and finally as seen here, as 313142 (based on the c/n). In 2015 a new restoration project was started for this aircraft.
