This 727 was originally delivered to American as N6837 in July 1969, then bought by Express One, converted to a freighter in November 1993, registered N315NE and operated by Emery on behalf of the USPS. By September 2001 the plane had been retired and stored at Goodyear (GYR), yet evidently it escaped the Land of Sand and turned up at some point at Opa Locka and this was one of at least two different sets of titles that it carried there. The plane left for SE Asia in February 2008, was registered TU-TAB and then flew for Gading Sari and Lankan Cargo. it is now derelict at Colombo (CMB).

Messerschmitt Me 262B-1a Werknr 110639 arrived at the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Pensacola, Florida, USA on September 30, 2014. The only genuine two-seat trainer ME 262 in the world. After being captured at Schleswig in May 1945, this ME 262 was taken to the USA and test-flown at NAS Patuxent River. In 1993 the US Navy agreed to loan the machine to the Messerschmitt 262 Project in Everett, Washington, as a pattern aircraft for its flying replicas.

This An-12 was originally delivered to the Aeroflot East Siberian directorate based at Irkutsk in February 1981. After a period with Baikal Airlines, it arrived in Florida around September 2001 and was flown by Avialeasing. The plane is pictured here after heavy maintenance and is in the process of being repainted into the SRX Transcontinental scheme. The plane is now parked at KOPF wearing the colours of Aerovis.

In 1975 Florida Airlines took over both Air South and Shawnee Airlines, because their route networks supplemented that of Florida Airlines perfectly. The two airlines continued to operate under their own names as Florida Airlines subsidiaries, but their combined routes were marketed as "The Connection". Some aircraft carried large "The Connection" titles, and often also the actual airline's name in smaller size.
