It had returned Aug 81 from a lease to Air India and not been repainted back into full Flying Tigers livery. Sold to UPS Sep 84 and re-reg N812UP Jan 85. Retired circa 2009.

N129US with Northwest Airlines until Jan 70. A few operators later, in Dec 76, it was registered to the Cathedral of Tomorrow / Rex Humbard Foundation. Rex Humbard was an American Evangelist who became famous with his TV shows. The flags on the aircraft represent all the counties it (and the foundation) visited. By the time this photo was taken it was owned, since Sep 81, by National Leasing Corporation. To TPI International Apr 85 and re-reg N360Q 3 months later. It then went on to fly with a myriad of operators and several registrations until stored at Red Deer AB 2007 as C-GYVI Air Spray.

First with QANTAS as VH-EBX Oct 67 to May 75. Then British Caledonian Airways G-BCAL May 75 to Dec 79. Acquired by TAR Dec 79 and retired circa 1988.

Although records show that it was officially purchased by Eastern in May 83, the aircraft was already operating with them by Dec 82. Some years after the collapse of Eastern it went to Airtours International / My Travel Airways as G-PIDS (with a lease to Spanair in the Winter of 97-98. Retired Nov 2005. Broken up 2007. Total Time 66758 hours and 26887 cycles.

Acquired in Aug 75. Re-reg VR-CMA Jan 85. Became 6Y-JMM Sep 87. To Kitty Hawk Air Cargo Jan 97. To Aerosucre Aug 2008 as HK-4544. Crashed shortly after overrunning the runway on take-off from Puerto Carreno, Colombia, 20 Dec 2016. It managed to get airborne but damage sustained led it to crash whilst turning in an attempt to get back to the airport. This sad accident was filmed and seen on media sites.

Last recorded in 2017 as being registered to Baron Aviation, Perry MO.

The aircraft was acquired from South African Airways (ZS-SBD) by Pan Aviation in Dec 81 and immediately leased to Liberia World Airlines. It was apparently returned to Pan Aviation in Jun 83. However, this photo may say otherwise (unless it was in Miami for maintenance at the time). Re-reg N95GS in Apr 84. To Avianca May 84 as HK-3133X. Retired circa 1991/1992 and stored. Later (2006) moved to a hotel in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, with the main fuselage in use as 2 bedroom suite on the edge of Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Verde Resort.
