The second of three D-558-2 Skyrockets built by Douglas for the US Navy's supersonic research. This was the first Mach 2 buster aircraft with Scott Crossfield taking it to Mach 2.005 on November 20, 1953 during NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics - renamed NASA after 1958) testing. It was the Skyrocket's only Mach 2 flight.

Delivered in May 1957, this Beaver spent it's career in British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon. The floatplane met it's end on December 3, 1990 when it broke the dock mooring during a storm and drifted out to the middle of Nootka Sound. Sinking in a 1,000 ft of water, it remains at the bottom of the sound.

Originally for Capital Airlines, this Convair was sold to Japan Airlines (JA8026) in 1963. Sold in 1971 as N5858 to a series of leasing companies, the airliner was leased to a number of travel clubs and small airlines. Those included Century 2000, Jonian Airways and Holiday Magic Finland. Converted to a freighter in 1980 and registered N54CP, it's pictured with Central American Airways. Central American later operated the aircraft for Profit Express. Withdrawn in 1985 and stored at San Juan, Puerto Rico, the freighter was used for fire fighter training until broken up circa 1989.

"Out of the clear blue of the western sky comes Sky King" was the opening of the 1950s US TV show that introduced thousands of kids to aviation. Sky and his niece Penny used an airplane instead of horses on their Arizona ranch in weekly adventures. A Cessna T-50 was the first "Songbird" replaced in 1956 by a new Cessna 310B. Built in 1960, N6817T "Songbird III" pays homage to those days complete with the Flying Crown Ranch insignia on the fuselage.

Enstrom Helicopters unveiled the TH-180 two seat piston trainer program in 2014. Flying on February 13, 2016, the first machine was introduced to the public at HAI Heli-Expo 2015. During testing N180TH suffered a loss of power on February 12, 2016 when bolts on a torque meter (installed to gather test data) sheared, separating the engine from the drive train. It was severely damaged during the forced landing on a residential street. Two further TH-180s would continue development until the company paused the program in 2018.

The Hawaii Express began operations in August 1982 with a single Boeing 747 (N355AS). Flying between Los Angeles and Honolulu, the airline added two DC-10s in May 1983. Former Western Airlines N904WA was leased from ILFC and returned after the short lived carrier suspended operations in December 1983. Later flying with Arrow Air and Air Hawaii, it went to American Airlines for a short time as N167AA. Bought by FedEx in 1999, it was converted to a MD10 -10F. After it's last revenue flight on December 18, 2019, the aircraft was retired to Victorville, CA.

One of Pacific Western's Lockheed Hercules normally used to haul freight to Northern Canada and world wide ad hoc freight work . It's pictured in Toronto to help clear a mail back log caused by rotating strikes by mechanics and baggage handlers in the summer of 1978. Sold in February 1981, the aircraft would go to Libya. First with United African Airlines as 5A-DHI and 5A-DHO, it is current with Libyan Air Cargo at the time of uploading.

Wartime 42-15545 had an airliner right hand entry door rather than the usual left side large cargo door and later worked for United airlines as N49541 January 1945 - September 1953. Coming to Canada in 1972, it's pictured with Lambair (1973 - 74), who sold it to Perimeter Airlines. The aircraft was donated to the Western Canada Aviation Museum after withdrawal in 1987.
