C-130J-30 Super Hercules of the Heyl Ha'Avir (Israeli Air Force) in take-off from Ovda air base in the Negev desert during Exercise Blue Flag 2017. The Israeli C-130Js, locally named at Shimshon, are all assigned to 103 The Elephant Squadron, based at Nevatim air base. The Israeli's bought (all delivered) seven C-130Js so far. They also operate a quite large fleet (some twenty left) of eldery C-130E, C-130H and KC-130H's, locally named Karnaf.

The AeroTree Company is involved in the field of aeronautical engineering, aerospace technology development, aerial flight training and the introduction of new products and services in various capacities in Malaysia's defense aviation industry. PLTT ANGKUT is the (shared?) military operator of the 350i's that were formerly civil registered. I have no detailed information about the aircraft, please share.

Another shot of 1311 with fine vortex coming from the propellers. The Republic of China Air Force (RoCAF) C-130H is assigned to 10th Transport Air Group, operating two squadrons Hercules', 101st and 102nd Tactical Composite Squadron. Both units operate in a pool of aircraft.

The South Dakota ANG is the proud owner of 175th FS Bulldogs. The F-16CM/DMs are painted in the Radar Absorbing Have Glass colours. Five aircraft arrived at Volk Field during Exercise Northern Lightning 2017 for just a lunch break during their air-superiority mission over nearby Wisconsin ranges. This Viper is armed with AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missiles on wingtip weapon stations 1 and 9, and underneath the wings (stations 2 and 8), the newest Sidewinder version, the AIM-9X is placed. Underneath the centre fuselage (station 8), an ALQ-184 Electronic Counter Measures pod is attached.

A fine but very grey KC-130J Super Hercules aerial refueling aircraft in take-off from Madison. I really love watching and photographing the Hercules, all variants, but the sound of the Juliet is terrible. The most modern engine noise does simply not fit with the looks.

The Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM, Malaysian Air Force) operates one squadron equipped with four Airbus A400Ms. The squadron, 22 Skn, is based at Subang/Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Kuala Lumpur, and received the first Atlas transport aircraft in March 2015. Number three is seen at the runway of Langkawi. During the LIMA show, TUDM transport aircraft are flying on and of each day.

The Lightning II, I still name it a cameleon... it does not matter from what angle you take a picture of the stealthy aircraft, its grey color, the (sun) glance, the additional Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) lines (that look like duct tape over fuselage panels), the canopy and so on... this all look always different.

The Republic of China Air Force (Taiwan Air Force) operated the S-2T Tracker until late 2017. The S-2Ts were transferred from the Taiwan Naval Aviation fleet to the Air Force in April 2013. Luckily, they kept the same tasks as well as their striking colors! This 2205 showed the photographer the spread-my-wings technique.
