Engineless fuselage of FPL 61C/SK 61C serial 61080 outside the Gotland Flygmuseum. Later became SE-LLR.

Assigned to Bristol University Air Squadron. Delivered to the RAF as XX656 in 1974. Reported to be in store somewhere in Derbyshire by 2007.

Built in 1972. Test flown and delivered as G-AZWR. Used by the Swedish Army as FPL 61C serial 61070 1973-89. Transferred to Swedish AF and op 1989 until ca 2000. Reg as SE-MEK in 2012, owned by Flygvapenmuseum, op by Malmen Veteranflygklubb.

Became G-CBJJ on 3 December 2001, then N525UK on 18 April 2014. Still current in the USA in 2023.

SE-LLA, ex 61031, was one of the last Bulldogs in service with the Lunds University /Trafikhögskolan at Ljungbyhed. Here pictured by the late Freddy Stenbom from his Cherokee Six SE-EZF.

This SK 61A Bulldog was operated by F 7 Wing when I took this picture. Became SE-LLA in 2000 (and I got to fly with it as such a few years later). Sold in the US and currently reg as N105MR.

Taxiing for takeoff on Prestwick's Runway 31. The Scottish Aviation company demonstrator and weapons test aircraft, it is the only Bulldog Model 124. Still going strong and celebrating its 50th birthday with the Prestwick Flying Club.

The Scottish Aviation company demonstrator and weapons trials Bulldog seen taxiing for takeoff from Prestwick's Runway 31. As part of the promotion of the type as a primary trainer with multi-role flexibility including weapons training and light strike, by 1978 it had been repainted into two-tone brown military camouflage which it retained at least into 1980. It was first displayed in these colours at Farnborough International in September 1978 and, with the addition of the show number 233, at the June 1979 Paris Air Show. Still current with a private group at Prestwick.

On static display at a Prestwick Flying Club Fly-in, carrying "Test and Development" titles and Scottish Aviation's winged lion logo. It was the prototype Bulldog, first flying in May 1969 at Shoreham, and the only one built by Beagle Aircraft before the company failed later that year. Design authority was transferred to Scottish Aviation at Prestwick where Bulldog production was initiated, with G-AXEH being adopted as a company demonstrator. Now preserved at Scotland's National Museum of Flight at East Fortune.

On static display at the 1972 Scottish Airshow, new from the adjacent factory and about to be delivered to the Kenya Air Force as the second of an order for five.

The Scottish Aviation company demonstrator and weapons trials aircraft on static display at Prestwick's 1975 Scottish Airshow. Still in flying club operation at Prestwick fifty years after it was built at the local factory in 1973.

This Bulldog made its first flight on 28 March 1975 and was delivered to the RAF as XX691 on 18 April 1975. The trainer was sold to Malta and departed British soil on 13 February 2000. The aircraft was assigned to Air Squadron/2nd Regiment and carried registration 9H-ADQ. That registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 and the Bulldog became AS0020. The Bulldog was written off on 5 August 2007 when it suffered an uncontrolled stall. It crash landed in an uncultivated field near Dwejra in Gozo. Both pilots survived the crash. The wrecked aircraft was moved to Luqa and was last seen in late 2016.
