Sold in New Zealand as ZK-BKD in 1955. Seen here with Wright R-1820 engines. It had been built as a C-47A with Pratt and Whitney R-1830s and for most of its time with ANA retained those engines. But ANA preferred Wrights and -ANU may have been the last of its war surplus C-47s to be converted. When it arrived in New Zealand, R-1830s were reinstalled. This side only shows the ANA logo on the rudder, but the left side still carried full "Australian National Airways" titles and also the faint traces of the fake registration VH-ANA for film work.

In 1939 it was impressed by the RAAF as A30-2 for five months until other aircraft aircraft could be sourced overseas. -UZK was destroyed on November 8, 1948 when it flew into Mount Macedon. It had not long departed Melbourne for Deniliquin when the captain departed the approved track under IFR conditions.

To Guinea Airways in April 1955, and reregistered VH-GAL in 1958. When Guinea became Airlines of South Australia as part of the Ansett group, the DC-3 became VH-INB again. Scrapped in 1969.

VH-UFF was originally delivered to the RAAF as A33-1 but was in service only a few months when Holyman's Airways asked to buy it to replace a crashed DH86. Holyman's had it for a year then it became ANA. In June 1938 -UFF was transferred to Airlines of Australia and was still with AOA when it was impressed by the RAAF as A33-3. Loongana on its belly after the crew failed to lower the undercarriage. On 15 Nov 1954 the pilots of the Sydney-Brisbane flight were practising a new landing drill. The co-pilot was flying the aircraft and the captain handling flaps and gear. Despite warning horns, the captain was certain he had extended the gear and ordered the co-pilot to land. No injuries. The captain, with 23,000 hours in his logbook, was forced to resign from ANA. After minor repairs, VH-ANF ferried to ANA's Melbourne base for final repairs. Converted from three 260hp Lycoming R-680 radials to two Pratt and Whitney Wasps by ANA in 1943, along with VH-UYY. -UYY's wing failed due to metal fatigue in January 1945 and -UKK was immediately grounded.

Converted to freighter in 1955, sold in Taiwan as B-1811 in August 1967

Withdrawn from use 1946 and scrapped at Essendon in 1948

VH-UTV was delivered to Adelaide Airways, an associated company of ANA, in 1936. The registered owner became ANA at the end of that year and the Scion was given the fleet name Moata.
