Last flight of a Swedish Hkp4. It was delivered today to the Aeromusee at the former military airbase of Save, now known as Goteborg City Airport. The Swedish, who have all their military helicopters organized into a single independent command, still have one Hkp4 with some flight hours left. However, it is stored and not expected to fly again. After the withdrawal from use of the last Japanese Vertol 107 last year this leaves the USMC as the last operator of a handful of CH-46's.

Operated at the time by the Försökcentralen or Central Trials Establishment.

Bucker-built in 1942, ex D-EXWB

Delivered to the Air Force in 1956, and transferred to the Försökscentralen trial unit (FC) at Malmen in 1960. The black and white scheme faciliated evaluation of filmed shooting tests. This Lansen was taken out of service in late 1985 and became G-BMSG in the UK. After many years of storage at Cranfield it was dismantled around 2010 and ended up stored in a yard in Willenhall, UK. By 2017 it was still there, dismantled.

Undoubted star of RAF Northolt Charity Night-shoot XIV was this 48 year-old Sabreliner from Malmen AB, Linköping. Used as a testbed for electronics including ultra-wideband ground surveillance synthetic aperture radar, it usually carries long probes, removed for flights over FL22. Acquired in 1980 and only flown for around 20 hrs p/a, a rare appearance indeed outside Sweden, a 6-stop trip to Thailand being one of few other foreign flights. A sister-ship (86002) was retired in 2005, now a ground trainer
