Built for Piedmont as N701U in 1966 but retained by Fairchild Hiller as N2735R for FH-227B & D development and certification. Converted to a freighter for Nordair as CF-NAK in 1972, The aircraft is pictured after the multiple mergers of Pacific Western and Canadian Pacific Airlines (who had recently acquired Eastern Provincian Airlines and Nordair). The registration was cancelled in January 1988 after delivery of the aircraft to Malmö Aviation as SE-KBR. It was last with Iona National Airways as EI-CAZ operating for DHL from 1991-3.

One of CP Air's older 737s, delivered March 24, 1969, that made it to the merger that formed Canadian Airlines. It was sold to AIG Leasing in May 1988 and placed with Braathens SAFE. After the merger of Pacific Western Airlines and Canadian Pacific Airlines (CP Air) in 1987, it took several years for a few of the aircraft in both airlines' fleets to be repainted. Awaiting major maintenance checks to do the job, the aircraft initially received new titles only.

CP Air's first DC-10 was delivered March 27, 1979 but left soon after registered PP-VMO for a one year lease to Varig Airlines (April 1979 - April 1980). Pictured with interim Canadian titles (which replaced interim Canadian Pacific titles) before a full re-painting. When Air Canada bought Canadian in 2000, the DC-10s were among the first aircraft disposed of. C-GCPC was converted to a freighter and stored at Goodyear, AZ 2000 - 2003 before leased to Centurion Air Cargo 2005 - 07 as N304SP. Last with Master Top Airlines (PR-MTC) from April 2007 until stored at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2011.

While Air Canada bought Canadian Airlines in 2000, the airline was operated separately until May 2002 when operations were merged. Some Canadian aircraft wore this interim color scheme (with a Star Alliance logo added on the 747 as Canadian transferred from One World). The 747 is pictured operating without winglets for a very short time. One winglet was damaged in a ground incident and to keep the aircraft flying, the other was removed while the damaged one was repaired / replaced.
