Built in 1956 and initially registered G-ANBG until it was realized the last three 'NBG' was a common term for "No Bloody Good" in those days. Registration changed to G-APLL effective 19 March 1958. Later to BKS Air Transport and scrapped at Newcastle (EGNT) in September 1969.

Flew with BOAC from new in 1958 until sold to Monarch Airlines in 1969. Scrapped at Luton (EGGW) in 1977. (The new decade was a novelty to us having never known anything but 1950-something up until then. Doubtless McIntyre, being of the same age group, made a point of getting something on film to mark the occasion.)

About to grease it on is this 1956 built 'Seven Seas' smartly painted in a livery that really suits it (IMHO). Later it flew with Saturn Airways as N90773 from 1963 to 1969, after which it was scrapped.
