April 15th 1987 TF-FLE Icelandair (leased from IAL). September 1987 subleased to Scanairas TF-FLE. May 9th 1988 TF-FLE back in Icelandair. Returned to IAL november 1988 and converted to freighter. March 1989 N7043U for Zambian Air Cargo, June 1986 for Arrow Air. January 1991 still N7043U Southern World Airlines until October 1991, then Arrow Air. November 1991 rr N345JW, wfu 2003 at KROW. First flight at Renton 5th March 1968, and del. to American Flyers Airline as N12826 April 1st 1968. In May 1971 Icelnadair TF-FIA named "Solfaxi", as their 2nd B727-100QC. in 1976 TF-FIA was repainted to the new Flugfelag Islands livery. October 1979 the new Icelandair ("Flugleidir") was after the merger between Flugfelag Islands and Loftleidir, and rr to TF-FLG. In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo. April 1990 N940UP UPS ship 940, and re-enginged with two new RR Tay 651-54. Scrapped 2008.

On approach to Glasgow's Runway 23. Delivered new to Icelandair in 2000. Withdrawn from use and put into storage from February 2020 until July 2021, initially at Kelowna, British Columbia, and then at Roswell, New Mexico.
