Ex 9J-RBW. Later registered as N109AK and converted to L.100-20, reverting to C-FPWN in 1974. Became J6-SLO in 1984, then N9205T in 1987. It was written off on 27 November 1989 at Jamba, Angola, during an alleged clandestine CIA mission.

Aircraft was previously at the now-closed Edmonton City Center Airport and on display at the Alberta Aviation Museum. Before the airport closed down, it was flown to CZVL for further preservation. Plans were to build a hangar for this and the other aircraft in the collection. It's been 9 years and nothing has happened since the move of the aircraft. It now sits in the Southeast corner of the airport.

Became N109AK, C-FPWN, J6-SLO, N920SJ. Written off 27 November 1989, Kamina Air Base, Jamba, Angola.

Pacific Western Airlines added this 737 to their fleet on May 1, 1985. Progressing through mergers with Canadian Airlines and Air Canada, the aircraft was placed with Zip Air in early 2003. Sold to Kelowna Flightcraft in June 2003, it was leased back until Zip ceased flying in September 2004. Leased the next month to EAS Airlines as 5H-BHA until going to LAM Linhas Aereas De Mocambique (C9-BAN) in April 2006, it returned to Canada with Canadian North registered C-GCNS in October 2007. The aircraft was withdrawn in 2017 and scrapped.

This 1975 Guinness Peat Aviation 737 spent most of it's time in America West or hybrid color schemes. Pictured in full Pacific Western colors (the original lessee), the aircraft was broken up in Vancouver, BC during after 2001. The hulk was sunk near Chemainus, BC to become the Xihuw (pronounced KEYquot) artificial reef.

Pacific Western's latest 737 pictured just arrived from Boeing in Seattle. Delivered September 30, 1980 and after 40 years, still flying with Air Inuit at the time of uploading.

Originally built for Panagra Airways in 1952 and flew with PWA from February 1965 to November 1971. Last owner was Conair and scrapped with them in 1986.

This 737 was delivered to Pacific Western on December 19, 1973. Sold to EE&G in February 1983, it flew military and contractor employees to restricted locations. The unofficial airline is sometime known as Janet from their call sign. The aircraft was retired in 2005 and stored. Pictured in front of PWs hangar originally built by Canadian Pacific Airlines to service their Bristol Britannias, this hangar is now a Federal Heritage Building and dodged the fate of the Boeing Canada factory on the left of the photo. Erected in 1939 to build Catalina / Canso flying boats, it was demolished in 1980.

Thankfully, not just stored but restored to its old livery and preserved, with a panoramic view of the airport from its south-west corner. Was flown here from the closing City Center airport in 2013, where it had been on display after having been phased out by Air Canada.

This 737 was delivered to Pacific Southwest Airlines on lease from GATX Corporation on December 17, 1968 as N381PS. Leased by Pacific Western in July 1969 as CF-PWM (C-FPWM after 1975), the airliner went on a three month lease to Bahamasair (C6-BES) in 1982 before a more permanent home with Pan Am from September 1982 - November 1987 as N382PA. Last with SAHSA Honduras (HR-SHG), it was returned in August 1990 and scrapped.

PWA's 1980 built B737 combi parked on the GA ramp so probably a Distant Early Warning (DEW-Line) resupply flight. Still in operation with Canadian North at time of upload and as someone pointed out, having the gravel kit is what saves these old birds from the scrap-man's axe.

While on a charter in Zaire in 1976, this Hercules arrived at a small airfield at night. It was foggy and the runway lights were off. Without enough fuel to divert, a forced landing in jungle was attempted with disastrous results.
