Built for the RAF as WP851 in 1952. Registered as G-BDET in 1975, PH-RTH in 1985 but not taken up, G-BDET in 1988, PH-ZWA in 2000 and F-AZUU in 2008.

Ex F-BFRK, French AF 1081. Destroyed on 2 August 1987 in a fatal crash near Royston. With SV.4C G-AWEF and Tiger Moth G-AIVW, both of which have since also been destroyed in accidents.

Registered 3rd January 1966, f/f 17th January 1966. Although bought by Norman Jones for The Tiger Club, whose logo it carries, at North Weald it was used by the Essex Gliding Club for glider towing. On 29th Sept.2013 it suffered engine-failure after take-off with a glider on tow and was damaged in the forced-landing in Bovington Army Camp. Although still currently registered December 2022, it's Permit expired 8th July 2014.

Tragically this aircraft was destroyed in a mid-air collision with Tiger Moth G-APVT at Tollerton, Nottingham, on 29th September 1973, both pilots and the Tiger Moth passenger were killed.

Originally registered 6 February 1933. Impressed for war service as BB726 30 October 1940. Restored as G-ACDC 4 December 1953. Sustained major damage in an accident at Rochester on 8 September 1963 and now a composite following its rebuild.

I believe the star markings worn by this and several other vintage aeroplanes in the display was to identify them as part of the "Dupont Display" which was the first item on the display programme. The fuselage of this aircraft was later used in the rebuild of Stampe G-AWEF, with G-ASHS itself being rebuilt in 1984 with the fuselage of Stampe G-AZIR.

To RAF as T7269 23 August 1940 and struck off charge Sept.1953 when sold as G-ANDA. It was DBR on 21 March 1967 after suffering engine failure while flying from Kidlington to Fairoaks and striking a tree during the forced landing on Hook Heath Golf Course near Woking, Surrey. (On 6 March 1955 it had landed on top of taxying Auster Autocrat G-AGXG at Denham, the Auster was DBR but G-ANDA was repaired and returned to service. On 3 May 1964 G-ANDA crashed on take-off from Rydden House Farm, Cranleigh, Surrey but was again repaired and returned to service). No fatalities in any of these incidents.
