Delivered to the RAF as XT906 in 1968. Broken up for scrap at Wattisham in 1993.

Photographer not known. XN768 was not converted to the upgraded F.2A standard and finished its flying careeer in 1973. After a period serving as a decoy on the airfield at Gutersloh, it was scrapped in 1978.

This is from a cutting from the RAF Air Clues magazine which my Dad added to his log book. ' After completing a normal landing in a Javelin the pilot shut down the port engine, set the starboard at 50% rpm and taxied to the dispersal area. As he turned the aircraft into dispersal, the starboard main undercarriage collapsed.' This is my Dad's comment on the back of this photo 'Taxing at 10kts one sunny day.........' To RAF 09Dec58 as an FAW7. SOC Tengah 01May1968.
