Shown here in the outdoor aircraft display area next to the original museum. It is currently on display in the WW 2 Gallery in the current museum.

This a/c dropped the atomic bomb Fat Man over Nagasaki, Japan on 9 August 1945. After the war, the 509th Bomb Group returned to the U.S. and was stationed at Roswell AFB, NM.
