A Hornet in the rarely seen colour scheme of the US Naval Test Pilot School.

Most probably a Jakt Viggen from the F7 wing, but the large intake hides the F7 mark on the nose. But 37072 flew with the wing from April 1982 up to August 1995. The aircraft was withdrawn from use in 1999 and from that moment seen with the fire department at Östersund. It was later on dumped (most probably after many handled fires. Luckily, the airframe was saved as it was moved to Såtenäs for display purposes late 2005. The Viggen is now beautiful on display on a pole at the Viggen Rastplatz at Garstorp along road number 44 , coded 72 of F7. It is furnished in an overall silvergrey colour.

1974: TOS USN. By 1977: VA-115, NAS Yokosuka, Japan. 1977: VA-95, NAS Whidbey Island, WA. 1982: VA-145, also at Whidbey. 1988: Strike University, Naval Surface Warfare Center, NAS Fallon, NV. The plane was withdrawn from service in 1995, scrapped and dumped in the Atlantic Ocean as an artificial reef.

ex 160186 and former Kuwaiti Air Force A-4KU 807. This Skyhawk was sold to Brazil in 1999 and redesignated AF-1. It was modified by Embraer to AF-1B in 2019 as the 8th (and last) AF-1 to be upgraded.
