Delivered to the US Navy Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR) 55 "Minuteman" and served the US Navy Reserve force up to 7 July 2010 when it was retired to AMARG with inventory code AN4C0008. On 1 November 2011 the Nightingale was moved to the Pima Air and Space Museum for preservation.

Wings folded on the platform of homebase Naval Air Station Alameda on one of the shores of San Fransisco bay. Former EKA-3B, converted to KA-3B, retired to AMARC in April 1992 with inventory code 2A0099 and left the storage depot on...? Fate unknown.

The 5K tailcode is an unknown one to me. It was carried on this UC-12B which was executing a engine run during a high-speed taxi test. The aircraft was converted to TC-12B in 1997. The served a Training Wing before it was sold to Argentina as TC-119 in January 2021.

Receiving some line-maintenance, this oldy was parked in one of the hangars of homebase NAS Alameda. BuNo 147648 was delivered as an EKA-3B electronic warfare aircraft and was converted in the mid-seventies to a KA-3B aerial refueler. Following that, it was converted to an adversary aircraft and served VAQ-33. As such, the Skywarrior was seen at NAS Key West in 1994. Fate unknown.

Retired to AMARC with inventory code 6A0324 on 22 March 1990. The Corsair left the storage depot on 13 October 2009 for HVF West and was then scrapped. Attack Squadron (VA) 304 "Firebirds" was part of the US Navy Reserve and based at NAS Alameda (CA). It was established on 1 July 1970, and disestablished on 31 December 1994. The Corsairs were in their final days in a terrible toned-down grey c/s, this in combination with the well-known San Fransisco fog resulted in a less quality photo.

Once an EKA-3B Skywarrior, developed for the electronic warfare role, but in its final years of operations converted to KA-3B aerial refueler. This Whale belonged to Tactical Aerial Refueling Squadron (VAK) 208 "Jockeys" which was established out of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 208 (VAQ) 208, on 1 October 1979 and disestablished on 30 September 1989. BuNo 147665 sadly crashed during a low-level mission into Pyramid Lake near Reno (NV) on 13 January 1988, killing three crew onboard.

Tactical Aerial Refueling Squadron (VAK) 308 "Griffins" ('ND-52x') was Alameda based. The squadron was established on 2 May 1970 as a Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron VAQ-308 and equipped with EKA-3B Skywarriors. After that task was taken over by the Prowler, some Skywarriors were converted to KA-3B aerial refueler. The squadron was redesignated as VAK-308 on 1 October 1979 and was disestablished on 30 September 1988. This 147666 was retired and preserved with the Western Aerospace museum in Oakland (CA).

Once an electronic warfare aircraft, but after that task was taken over by the EA-6B Prowler, some of the Skywarriors (nicknamed Whale), where converted to KA-3B and soldiered on as an aerial refueler. Tactical Aerial Refueling Squadron (VAK) 208 "Jockeys" ('AF-52x') was part of the US Navy Carrier Air Wing Reserve (CVWR) 20. The squadron was established on 30 July 1970 as a Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (VAQ) 208 and was redesignated to VAK-208 on 1 October 1979. It was disestablished on 30 September 1989. This 147657 was retired to AMARC with inventory code 2A0118 in September 1989.

VT-28 at Corpus Christi, Texas flew the Tracker as a multi-engine trainer from 1960 until 1979 when the TS-2A was replaced by the T-44 Pegasus (King Air). Another photo shows that D-409 is BuNo 136446, D-440 is BuNo133328 and D-413 is BuNo 136497. Seen at Alameda, these aircraft have probably already finished their career with VT-28 here. 133328 is on record as going to the MASDC boneyard earlier that month, but was returned to service. Stricken on 16 October 1986. It is currently on display at the Chennault Aviation and History Museum in Monroe, Louisiana.

Delivered new to USN on 24 April 1968. Assigned to VA-174, VA-15, VA-125, VA-304 and VA-204. Transferred to AMARC with park code 6A0181 on 11 July 1986. Stricken on 13 August 2002.

This A-7D was assigned to the New Mexico Air National Guard from 1977 through 1988. Later transferred to the Ohio Air National Guard. To AMARC as AE0210 on 17 September 1992. Scrapped in April 1997.

On 26 November 1982 this A-7B crashed near Sayre, Oklahoma after engine failure. The pilot successfully ejected.

Delivered new in 1976 to VA-87. In 1982 it was transferred to VA-174, and later assigned to VA-122. To AMARC on 16 July 1991 with park code 6A0397. Scrapped in May 2006.

Currently on display at Eindhoven Airbase, Netherlands.

In July 1978 HMS Ark Royal was undergoing maintenance at Mayport Naval Base in Jacksonville, FL. During that time 809 Sq. operated out of NAS Cecil Field, near Jacksonville and conducted training flights all around the U.S., including NAS Alameda, CA. XV333 is currently on display at the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.
