This is the Merchantman conversion of the Vanguard. Delivered to BEA on 13 Dec 1961 as a Vanguard 953 registration G-APEP it was converted to a Merchantman in Mar 1971. Sold to Air Bridge Carriers on 08 Nov 1979. Renamed Hunting Cargo Airlines by 15 Aug 1992. Preserved at the Brooklands Museum on 17 Oct 1996. Still there in 2023.

Delivered new to British Airways as G-BBAI on 04 Feb 1975. Leased to British Airtours Mar 1985 to 01 Nov 1987. Leased to Caledonian Airways 01 Mar 1988. Sub leased to Worldways Airlines as C-FCXJ on 01 Dec 1988 to 01 May 1889 and 12 Dec 1989 to 29 Apr 1990. WFU on 05 May 1999. Ferried to Abu Dhabi and broken up in Nov 1999.

A candidate for most unkempt aircraft ever ! On lease from Seaboard World who's black and gold colour scheme just about remains on the aircraft. To Seaboard World as N8642 on 23 Oct 1969. Delivered new to Iran Air as EP-IRM on 17 Mar 1970. Transferred to the Iranian Air Force around 2001 as 5-8305. Stored at THR. Last noted May 2016.

Delivered to Gulf Air as G-BDCZ on 27 Jul 1976 and re-registered to A4O-TZ on 06 Aug 1976. Converted to a 200 series in Aug 1982. WFU and acquired by Interlease Aviation as N926VA in Jan 1998. Broken up at Abu Dhabi by Aug 2000.

Delivered new to Aer Lingus as EI-ASL on 02 May 1975. To L'Aeropastale as F-GKTK on 15 Nov 1993. To NWT Air as C-FNVT on 31 Mar 1995. To First Air on 15 Nov 1997. To Nolinor as C-GNLE on 28 Feb 2017 and still current in Dec 2023.

Delivered new to Varig as PP-VMB on 18 Jun 1974. Leased to Avensa as YV-50C on 14 Dec 1998. WFU and flown to the US as N967PG. Noted stored at Roswell 28 Dec 2002. Scrapped by 21 Oct 2004.

Delivered new to Philips in the Netherlands as PH-ILV on 23 Sep 1975. To the Turkish register as TC-CEN on 19 Feb 1994. Re-registered to TC-GGG in 2004 and believed to be still current in 2023 although I cannot see any pictures of it online.
