Further leases to Air Marshall Islands, Arrow Air, Zantop and to ATI 31 Jul 1998. Operated the last ever DC-8 passenger flight on 26 May 2012. Ferried to Barbar's Point Aviation Museum - Oahu on 17 May 2013.

Delivered to Wien Air Alaska as N491WC in 1979. To Air Berlin USA in 1981 then to Arkia as 4X-BAA in 1982, Dan-Air London as G-BKNH in 1983 and Mandala Airlines as PK-RIJ in 1993. Withdrawn from use at Jakarta-CGK in 2008. Preserved at Kalipancur Valley Tourism Village, Semar, Indonesia by 2013.

Markings have changed slightly since my photo a few months earlier. Delivered to Cameroon Airlines as TJ-CAA in 1972. To Israeli Aircraft Industries as 4X-BYR in 1987 then to the Israeli Air Force as 4X-JYB/255 in 1988 and converted to an ELINT version. Withdrawn from use at Tel Aviv in 2008 and scrapped.

Leased from SAS from Jun82 to Jan83. Delivered to SAS as OY-KTD in 1967. To Scanair as SE-DDU in 1979. Returned to SAS in 1982. Sold as N762UA in 1986 then to Airborne Express as N805AX in 1987. Withdrawn from use in 2001 and scrapped in 2002.

Delivered to Air Inter as F-BNKB in 1966. To Altair as I-GISE in 1982. Impounded in 1985 and used as a restaurant. In use as Pizzeria Ristorante Caravelle, Sant'Egidio Alla Vibrata, Italy from 2006. Still there in 2020.

Delivered to Finnair as OH-LEA in 1960. To LTU as D-ABAF in 1965, Transavia as PH-TRM in 1969, Air Inter as F-BSRR in 1971, Altair as I-GISA in 1981, IAC Airlines as 9Q-CPS in 1984 and ATS Air Transport Service in 1987. Withdrawn from use at Kinshasa-N'Djili in 1994 and scrapped in 1995/6.

Leased from Ariana Afghan Airlines. Delivered to Executive Jet Aviation as N531EJ in 1967. To Ariana Afghan Airlines as YA-FAW in 1971. Leased to Dan-Air as G-BIUR for a few months in 1981 and 1982 and to Icelandair as TF-FLJ in 1981/82 and 1983/84. Damaged beyond repair in a US bombing raid on Kabul in 2001.

Prototype. First flew as G-ASKE in 1964. Delivered to the RAF as XR362 in 1967. To Heavylift Cargo Airlines as G-BEPE in 1977. Withdrawn from use at Southend in 1984 and scrapped in 1994.

Built for British Eagle as G-ATZC then delivered to Airlift International as N737AL in 1967. Leased to Transavia as PH-TRW for a few months then to Caledonian Airways as G-ATZC who merged into Caledonian/BUA in 1970. They were renamed to British Caledonian in 1971. To Worldways as C-GFLG in 1981 then to Transbrasil as PT-TCP in 1986 and Aerobrasil in 1991. Damaged beyond repair in an accident at Manaus in 1992.

Built for Airlift International as DC-8-63CF N6167A in 1970. Delivered to World Airways as N803WA in 1971. To the Oman Royal Flight as A4O-HM then reregistered as A4O-HMQ in 1981. Converted to a DC-8-73CF in 1982. Sold as N785AL then to Southern Air Transport as N874SJ in 1993 and Emery Worldwide as N831AL in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2001 and scrapped in 2007.

Delivered to Aeroflot as CCCP-86514 in 1980. Reregistered as RA-86514 in 1992. Withdrawn from use at Moscow-Sheremetyevo by 1996. Scrapped in 1998.

Delivered to British Airways as G-KILO in 1980. To Cathay Pacific as VR-HVY in 1982. Reregistered as B-HVY in 1997. Withdrawn from use at Kemble and scrapped in 2008. Reg N747KD allocated but not applied.

Delivered to Martinair as PH-MBT in 1978. Operated by KLM from 1989 to 1992. To the Royal Netherlands Air Force as T-264 in 1994 and converted to a KDC-10 tanker in 1995. To Omega Aerial Refueling Services as N264DE in 2020.

Delivered to Japan Air Lines as DC-8-61 JA8041 in 1970. To Overseas National Airways as N917R in 1981. Had recently been converted to a DC-8-71 when this photo was taken. To Pointair as F-GMFM in 1985, Kenya Airways as EI-BWG in 1988 and Zambia Airways as 9J-AFL in 1989. Sold as N811AL and converted to a DC-8-71(F) freighter for Emery Worldwide in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2001. Still there in 2004. Scrapped.

Leased from SAS from Feb82 to Feb84. Delivered to SAS as SE-DBI in 1970. To Thai Airways International as HS-TGZ in 1984 then to the Royal Thai Air Force as L.10-2/28 in 1985. To Arrow Air as N798AL in 1989 then to International Cargo Express as N41CX who merged into Air Transport International in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Wilmington, OH in 2013. Still there in 2023.

Photographer not known. G-ASKK went on to fly with Air UK, when BIA was taken over. It is preserved in the City of Norwich Aviation Museum.

Allocated USAF serial 65-12768. Delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force as 10323 in 1967. Transferred to the Canadian Armed Forces as 130323 in 1970. Withdrawn from use at CFB Trenton in 2012 and scrapped in 2013.
