KLM s daily flight to Stavanger this day was made by a DC-930 instead of the ususal DC-9-10.

Two of the new SAAB MFI 15 Safaris which followed the SAAB Saphir as the Military Pilot shcool aircraft were seen dancing togheter over us who had come to watch the Air Show. 0837 crashed on 25 July 1989

Seen after arriving rwy 01 this Saturday morning at the start of the main day for the Sola Air Show, as the terminal looks to be guarded by a row of F-16s.

May 1st 1983 N8763 ONA-Overerseas National Airways, Dec 1983 National Airlines, and Oct 1983 Airlinft International, still N8763. Oct27th 1984 EC-DVB Spantax.. Early morning at Sola, Saturday May 30th 1987, the main day of the Air Show 1987. What a Joy it was to enter the airport and see this beautiful Dakota of Flygande Veteraner standing in the morning sun.

Seen at take off rwy 36 one of the tours with passengers on board, the first day of Sola Air Show 1987. Bose of an Air UK F.27 is visible behind.

Built 1966, delivered as G-ATTP to British Eagle, named "Swift". December 1967 9J-RCH Zambia Airways. Was a periond leasd to Air Malawi as 7Q-YKE, and retuinred to Zambia as 9J-RCH. March 31st 1975 G-ATTP again for Dan-Air London. From november 1991 leased to LADECO via ILFC as CC-CYM. After three years, november 1994 it has been preserved by the Museo Nacional de Aeronautica de Chile, at Los Cerillos airport at Santiago de Chile. Dan-Air is seen at take-off rwy 36 on shceduled flight back to Newcastle.

In 1948 LN-IAF was transferred fot SAS, repainted to the 1948 variation of SAS colours and renamed "Fridjof Viking". Augsut 1957 rr to SE-CFP for Linjeflyg. Later 79006 for the Swedish Air Force, fleet no 709. 1984 SECFP for Stiftelsen "Flygande Veteraner" and repainted to the 9148 livery of SAS colours, except for the font used on "Scandinavian Airlines System", This font was not introduced before 1957, and that is the same year it left SAS.
