Still in its South African Air Force markings, this Bosbok took part in the flying displays at the Wide Bay International Airshow. Forty Bosboks were delivered to the SAAF during 1972-74, this one being '951'. Following retirement, it was civil registered in South Africa as ZU-ACS on 20 October 1992. Sold in Australia it was re-registered VH-BTZ on 23 August 2001, initially based near Melbourne. It's currently Queensland-based.

This is actually the third Tiger Moth (& the 5th aircraft) to carry the registration VH-RVE: the other Tigers were both old Royal Victorian Aero Club machines. This particular example was built in the UK in 1941 for the RAF as T7093. Post-war it became G-AMMX and later found its way to New Zealand as ZK-BAN, before coming to Australia for a re-build. Seen here at the Wide Bay International Airshow.
