Originally built as an L-19A-CE at Cessna's Pawnee plant, cn 21546, to a 1951 order as 51-11976, this aircraft saw service with the US Army, then the USAF in Vietnam, then the South Vietnamese Air Force. Recovered from Vietnam by the late Col Pay & associates. Acquired and restored to its accurate Vietnam war colour scheme as flown by Maj James Kidder & Lt Col Charles Morrison with 19th TASS by Randal MacFarlane at Archerfield, it was first registered as VH-XVB on 7 May 1992.

Steve Searle's newly-restored Stinson OY-1 (a naval version of the L-5E-1) made its public debut at the Wide Bay International Airshow. Following a 9 month, ground-up, restoration VH-NOY made its first flight on 29 March 2007. The aircraft is on the Register with cn '03995', but as far as can be determined this is actually its US Navy Bu number. The aircraft has been restored to accurate markings it wore in USN service.

A very rare type in Australia - in fact, the only one of its kind! This aircraft was built in its native Sweden by Sixten Gustavsson between 1973 and 1993, it was acquired by its current owner in 2005. A very rare type in Australia - in fact, the only one of its kind! This aircraft was built in its native Sweden by Sixten Gustavsson between 1973 and 1993, it was acquired by its current owner in 2005. When the owner moved back to Australia, the aircraft came too and was fortuitously registered VH-XHP on 18 May 2007. It's seen here visiting the Wide Bay International Airshow.

'Unity 991' put on an impressive display at the Wide Bay International Airshow. This aircraft was delivered to US Air, later US Airways, in July 1991 as N885US. It was imported into Australia by Alliance and registered, fittingly, in the old Ansett F.28 sequence as VH-FKA(2) on 11 August 2005. Initially operated in a hybrid scheme, it has since been repainted in full Alliance colours.

Seen taxying at the Wide Bay International Airshow, this 1972 Baron was originally registered N9327Q. In 1978 it suffered a gear collapse at Pueblo, CO, whilst being flown by two FAA inspectors! In 1990 it was exported to Papua New Guinea where it became P2-TCH, and in November 1995 it was re-exported to Australia where it became VH-TCD on the 13th of that month.
