The modern angle of attack meter looks a bit odd in this 1930s cockpit! This aircraft was built to an RAF order and became HG656. It was sent to New Zealand and became NZ527 with the RNZAF. After the war it was civilianised and became ZK-ALB and served with Mt Cook Airlines before being exported to Australia in 1971 to become VH-IAN, later VH-UTV.

This glider was formerly D-KMAK(3), but probably only for flight testing. It was first registered in Australia on 20 September 2004 and is currently registered to an owner in Canberra, though probably based at Narromine. Note that this glider does not properly follow the rules for the display of registration markings on Australian gliders - it is acceptable not to display the nationality marks ('VH') and to not display the leading letter of the individual mark only if it begins with 'G' (i.e. 'Glider').

This rare aeroplane is the one and only Aircorp Bushmaster. Fifteen years ago this was the prototype of an intended production series, but as far as I know this was the only aircraft completed. It was originally powered by a Norton rotary engine, with a Lycoming O-235 as an alternative.

This aircraft was built to an RAF order as Harvard Mk IIa EX185, but was shipped directly to New Zealand in 1942, becoming RNZAF NZ1007. It remained with the RNZAF until disposed of in 1978. The aircraft was then restored in Australia 1981-87, making its first post-restoration flight on 22 April 1987. It is seen here pulling into position for static display at the Narromine Airshow.

It was re-registered as VH-UAE in 1930. In later years it was re-built to DH-60G standard and is preserved in immaculate condition today at Walcha, NSW. Seen here at the Narromine Airshow.
