This early Beaver was first with the Province of Manitoba Government Air Services from May 1949. Pictured with Air North Charter from 1979 - 85, the airline was expanding from their original 1977 "Air North Charter and Training" name to Air North as the fleet acquired larger aircraft . First flight June 1970 and acquired by Air North December 1976 via the USA, this BN-2 was withdrawn after an accident in 1986 and sold for parts. It's pictured before getting an Air North green and yellow color scheme.

A civil Bell 204 that came to Canada new in 1966. Although pictured lacking titles, records show that former Canadian Helicopters C-FAHA was registered to Conair Aviation June 1993 - June 1994. The helicopter was last with Resource Helicopters before export to Chile in 2002 as CC-CLU.

Simo Air flew this Islander 1989 - 92. Recently sold by Chu Cho Omineca Northern Air in November 2021, the aircraft is owned by a number company at the time of uploading.

Former Kenting Helicopters (1971 - 83), C-FKBL is pictured with Lakeland Helicopters (1983-86). The helicopter is still current on the Canadian register at the time of uploading.

Originally US Navy bu 12334, this Staggerwing was struck off strength in 1946. It became N9885H and was changed to the vintage NC9885H in 1971. A very well travelled aircraft shown here transiting back to (or from) Alaska.

After 3 years of restoration by the Yukon Flying Club, CPY is awaiting the building of its rotating pedestal for display as a working weathervane. While the pedestal has been moved during airport expansion over the years, the classic aircraft is still at Whitehorse airport, now located in front of the Yukon Transportation Museum.

Delivered to the USAAF as 42-24029 in 1943. To NC62388 then to Canadian Pacific as CF-CUG in 1947. To Eldorado Aviation in 1958 then to Air North as C-FCUG in 1979. To N9891A in 1998. Cancelled from the register in 2018.

This colorful Kiowa was later converted to an OH-58D with new serial 93-0937.

This Cub has the Whittaker rough field landing gear installed. Developed around 1948, the idea was later superseded by tundra tires more commonly seen on bushplanes today. Registered in the USA as N21375 in 1990, the aircraft was based in Alaska from 1996 to 2017 when the registration was cancelled.

Delivered to the USAAF as C-47 41-18541 in 1942. To Canadian Pacific as CF-CPY in 1945. To other operators from 1960. Preserved as a weather vane from 1979 in Canadian Pacific colours.

This fairly new Cessna 152 crashed (without serious injuries) during a training flight on August 6, 1989 when it was flown into what was thought to be an accessable valley, but the aircraft did not have the performance to avoid flying into the terrain.

This 1963 Caribou was originally with the Kuwait Air Force. Brought back to Canada in 1977, it's pictured with Kelowna Flightcraft, operating the freighter 1980 - 84. Air North and Kenn Borek Air later flew the aircraft before Newcal Aviation bought it in 1992, stored at Gimli, MB and slated for turbine conversion. Crash of the prototype turbine conversion in August 1992 saw it go to Air Tindi in 1993 before sold to the USA as N112CH in 1997. Based at New Smyrna Beach, FL with Vintage Props and Jets, the aircraft was damaged by high winds in 2001. It became derelict and was later broken up.

Previously N291EX, N16DA and N25DA before coming to Canada in May 1990, Resource Air operated this Islander from July 1990 - Jun 1994. The aircraft went to Air Marshall Islands as V7-0009 in 2000, then in 2003, to Unity Airlines registered YJ-009 in Vanuatu. On July 28, 2018 an ATR-42 making an emergency landing at Port Vila-Bauerfield Airport lost control and departed the runway colliding with the Islander which was parked. The aircraft was destroyed and the crew and passengers of the ART-42 evacuated their aircraft without injuries.
