This the very last 747 ever to be built. The end of an era.

Returning from a test flight as "Boeing (BOE) 343 Heavy." This is the 13th 777-F for China Cargo Airlines.

Arriving from Phoenix as AS313 is this 5 year old 737-900ER.

Departing for Doha on delivery this morning to Qatar Airways as "Qatari (QTR) 3204 Heavy." Bad weather today meant another cancelled test flight for the last 747-8.

The new Horizon Air "Meatball" on arrival from Palm Springs as QX2134. I have to say it looks great, but I am disappointed that Milton Kuolt's name and signature was not put on the front of the aircraft like they had on N434MK.

Departing for Taipei, Taiwan on delivery to China Airlines Cargo as "Dynasty (CAL) 1712 Heavy."

My final trip down to PAE this year was supposed to be for the last 747-8 test flight, but an issue kept it grounded. I still made out okay with the first catch of the day being this Southwest MAX on delivery Phoenix as WN8700.

After wartime service with the USAAF as 42-72209, the C-54A was operated post-war as N90432 by American Airlines (1946-1950, Eastern Airlines (1950-1955) and leased to Flying Tiger Line, probably supporting Cold War DEW Line radar site contraction in the Arctic. Pacific Western Airlines imported it as CF-PWB in it Nov. 1957 and it flew with the airline for 15 years until sold to Cryderman Air Service as "N-74183" in Nov. 1972. It was photographed three weeks after a hydraulic line burst when departing for Everett from Chico, CA. Flew for many years in Florida. Preserved at MCAS Miramar, CA.

Delivered to the USAF as 53-4329. Sold as N6794. To the Museum of Flight in 1987 and repainred into USAF markings as 53-4329.

The registration on this one would indicate it will be operated by Atlas Air for MSC Air Cargo. If anyone knows info on this one I would love to know!

Taken on Strength by the US Army Sept 9, 1966, this Chinook was rebuilt as CH-47D by 1986. The helicopter was reserialed 85-24348 with new cn M3118. Deployed to Afghanistan in 2002, it was written off in an non-combat accident in 2010.

Built in 1993. Donated to Boeing in 2004 and preserved at the Future of Flight Museum.

After World War II, this Spitfire did gate guard duties at several RAF stations in the UK until sold in 1964 to the Air Museum Of Calgary, Canada. After six years of storage, a long restoration was begun, but the aircraft was moved back to the UK before it took to the air again in 1996. It joined the Flying Heritage Collection in 1999 registered N614VC. The aircraft is registered to Vulcan Warbirds, part of the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum organization.

The latest 777-F for FedEx arrives back at Paine Field after completing its first flight as BOE305.

Still wearing a Boeing test reg, but will eventually become JA935A once delivered to ANA. Arriving back at Paine Field after a test flight to Moses Lake and back as BOE435. Note the RAT deployed which makes one hell of a sound!

One of my most interesting catches to date is this experimental Cessna Citation Latitude. Apparently owned by Textron Aviation and used for flight testing of some sorts. Seen here departing back to home base in Wichita, Kansas. Note the long probe on the front.

The 3rd to last ever Boeing 747-8 to be built at the Everett, Washington plant arrives back after completing its first flight as "Boeing 702 Heavy". I imagine hoards of people will be out to see the very last 747 ever to be built take flight for the first time.

Delivered new to Virgin America 3rd Dec 2007 and merged into Alaska Airlines Jan 2018. It was ferried into KPAE (Everett) 11th March 2022 for storage

This KC-46 first flew in 2016. Sources state that it became 11-46003 with the USAF in 2017, but it now appears to be in storage, still as N463FT.
