CCCP-31000 appeared at air shows all over the world as Kamov's demonstrator including Australia's Bicentennial Air Show. The Antonov AN-124 which brought it to Australia stole the show with its vigorous display.

VH-CWM was a flying exhibit from the Drage Air World museum at Wangaratta, Victoria. It was reregistered VH-UXL in 2004. -UXL had been its original pre-World War II registration.

Sold to the German Navy as 60+01.

NZ6254 was withdrawn from use in 2001 and put on display at the RNZAF Museum at Wigram air base.

VH-BHG had been on the Australian register since 1955. It became -BHG in 1967 to free up the marks VH-RHG for owner Robert Henry "Bobby" Gibbes , who had a new Twin Comanche. Wing Commander Gibbes was Australia's leading fighter ace of World War II. In 2017 the Saab remained on the register, as did the Twin Comanche.

Imported into Australia in 1938. It was restored in 1988 as part of the Australian Bicentennial celebrations after 13 years off the register. Still registered in 2017 but in the hands of a society set up to maintain it. Ansett went out of business in 2001.

Prototype registered in late 1988 and cancelled early 1990. A re-engined second prototype, VH-OZE, was built as the Buchanan BA204 Ozzi Mozzi
