This 1966 Queen Air was imported new, as the rego implies, for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. It carried the US rego N9506Q for the ferry and was re-registered VH-FDV(2) on 19 April 1966. Subsequently sold and operated for a time by Skytours, which specialised in outback tourist flights. Currently based in Queensland, it flew in to the Wide Bay International Airshow each day for static display alongside a current RFDS King Air.

This 1966 Queen Air was imported new, as the registration implies, for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. It carried the US registration N9506Q for the ferry flight and was re-registered VH-FDV(2) on 19 April 1966. Subsequently sold and operated for a time by Skytours, which specialised in outback tourist flights. Currently based in Queensland, it flew in to the Wide Bay International Airshow each day for static display alongside a current RFDS King Air.
