Luscombe built the model 10 in 1945. Despite good results during flight testing, the company did not feel there was a market for it with the anticipated post war general aviation boom not happening. Plans to develop the aircraft were halted and the prototype was destroyed. In 2015, Bill Bradford finished this faithful replica of the unique antique.

The second B-25H built, 43-4106 spent WWII in the USA doing various test programs. Sold surplus in 1947, I have found conflicting information on it's history post-war so far, but it did get a B-25J glass nose installed. A 10 year restoration began in 1981 that restored the unique B-25H cannon nose and it was painted as 43-4380 "Barbie III" flown by Flying Tigers veteran Lt. Col R.T. Smith in Burma.

In 1969, movie studio 20th Century Fox had several Japanese WWII aircraft replicas constructed for the movie "Tora Tora Tora". The Mitsubishi Zeros were modified North American T-6s (and Canadian built Harvards). This one is WWII veteran 41-17422 that was released to the civilian market in 1948. The aircraft is still flying with the markings from the Japanese carrier Akagi used for the movie.

Undergoing restoration to participate in the 75th anniversary of the Normandy invasion on D-day when photographed, this C-47 flew as lead aircraft that day. Returning to the USA after the war, it was transferred to the Reconstruction Finance Corp and sold as N88874. Active until 1999 when the aircraft was placed in a succession of museums until sold to Basler Turbo Conversions and stored for future conversion. Rescued for restoration in 2015, it flew once again in January 2018.
