Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation built Mustang with the Royal Australian Air Force as A68-187 from 1950 - 58. Several owners had Australian registrations reserved for the fighter, but none were applied. It was converted to Rolls-Royce Dart power and ground run, but not flown between 1971 - 77. The Merlin engine was re-installed and it was stored until exported to the USA as N919WJ for World Jet, Inc in 1995. The Warbird has been flying again as N50FS since conversion to a TF-51D using parts from P-51 44-74839 (cn 122-41379) in 1996.

The Grizzly was a canard proof-of-concept STOL bush plane. All composite, only one was built. The low wing was detrimental to true bush operations, but the aircraft was later cleared to be a tow plane for the company's Model 77 Solitaire motor glider. The aircraft was donated to the EAA AirVenture Museum in 1997.

US Air Force 51-14913 was based at Marana Army Air Field (now Pinal Air Park) in Arizona for basic flight training. The aircraft was sent to Japan in 1955 where it became 52-0048 with the Japan Air Self Defense Force. Struck off strength by the Japanese in May 1965, the next information I have was the trainer being registered N278DB in 1986.

The Taylor Coot was designed by Moulton Taylor and first flew in 1969. Taylor was probably more well known for his roadable airplane design, the Aerocar from the 1950s. A rare feature of the Coot is the low wing using the wing root as sponsons to stabilize the seaplane on the water. That dispenses with the need for wing tip floats, cutting down on weight and drag.

A truly international trainer, this CCF built Harvard was delivered to the US Air Force (53-4623). It was operated by the USAFE in Germany until passed to the Luftwaffe in 1956. Transferred to the Portuguese Air Force in 1964, it was used for counter insurgency operations in Angloa. Abandoned in Mozambique in 1974, it was displayed in the capital of Maputo. In the 1980's, the South African Air Force bought T-6s remaining in Mozambique to keep their own aircraft flying. Sold in 1995 , the airframe passed through several owners while undergoing restoration, flying again in 2018.

Stored at various military bases after delivery in 1945 as 44-68334, this Cadet target drone was activated by the Flight Test Division of the Wright Air Development Center in March 1949. Test flying in the TIPTOW Fighter Range Extension Project, the aircraft was retired after more than 231 test couplings when it collided with the C-47 tow plane due to a mechanical failure on February 21, 1950. Now part of the EAA Museum collection, the aircraft is still carrying it's civil registration although it was actually cancelled in 2015.

After the World War II ended in Europe, this C-47 went to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation in June 1945. It was registered N74589 in 1949 to Seattle based West Coast Airlines. The aircraft was sold to local carrier Aerodyne in 1968 after West Coast merged with Pacific Air Lines and Bonanza Air Lines to form Air West. Other small carriers and private owners followed after 1984. Pictured at AirVenture 2019, the warbird had just returned from a double Atlantic crossing to participate in 75th anniversary D Day celebrations.
