Fibreglass Hawker Hurricane mounted on a plinth at MOTAT. It is modelled on the aircraft flown by Sir Keith Park who was leader of 11 Group, RAF during the Battle of Britain. 11 Group was tasked with defending London and south-east England. Fibreglass Hawker Hurricane mounted on a plinth at MOTAT. It is modelled on the aircraft flown by Sir Keith Park who was leader of 11 Group, RAF during the Battle of Britain. 11 Group was tasked with defending London and south-east England. The Alpi Aviation Skyspark is a one off 100% electrical powered demonstrator based on the Alpi Pioneer 300. It flew a world speed record of 300km/h for electrical powered aircraft in 2009. Now it is preserved in the 'innovation hall' of the Volandia Museum.
