This Let-410 was TOC by the Czechoslovak AF as 0712 in November 1981. I had photographed it three years earlier at Dubnica parked up, propless and looking rather forlorn so it was great to see it at Nitra, active doing parachute drops. This Ka-26 was delivered to the Ukraine directorate of Aeroflot in January 1975. It later went to Hungary as HA-MCL as a crop-sprayer but then fell into disrepair. Fortunately, the frame has been rescued and is now on display in (presumably) something close to its original scheme.

This Delfin was TOC by the Ceskoslovenske Vojenske Letectvo in 1969 and transferred over to the Slovaks on 1st january 1993. It is now on display amongst a small but very interesting line-up of preserved aeroplanes at Nitra.
