A new version of the Russian SM-92T Turbo Finist, assembled by Orbis Avia here at Hradec Králové.

This is the last airworthy T52 Provost. Allocated XS228 it was delivered into storage and entered active service with the South Arabian Air Force which livery it now carries (later South Yemen Air Force) In December 1975 it was transferred to the Singapore Air Force as 352 until withdrawn in 1980. It returned to the UK in 1983

Landing after towing up the four Blanik gliders of the Ocovski Bacovia display team. I have a weak spot for the Z-37 Cmelak (Bumblebee), but the Turbo variant is rather unattractive with those ugly winglets.

Much to my satisfaction, there was a brief window of opportunity to photograph this Ukrainian Su-27 two-seater without covers, ladders or obstructions, with the day's only sunshine in my back, just after the end of the CIAF 2017 show.
