In 1959 during a visit to the USA, Soviet leader Khrushchev enjoyed his ride in an S-58 helicopter. When President Eisenhower challenged him to order some, Khrushchev said yes and two HUS-1Zs as well as two V-44s were actually sold and shipped to the USSR. This Flying Banana is still in Vertol company livery.
